A few days ago I decided to make a new character or two to try out the other classes. So far I've made a Female Mage and a Thief. I got to Elementalist on my Mage but it's just eh, and stopped playing it.
On my Thief I went Necromancer...
and I think I like it more than Asura. At least, at the lower levels I do. It's such a fun class and very powerful *o* (also I get SSS rank constantly, something which my Asura doesn't really get for some reason... I have no idea how to up that rank on it )
Already level 35, though I don't think I'll get to awaken again.

there are some quests where the cost(to make) to reward ratio is bad, to the point you should skip it, especially in this alpha.

Given there is a chance they'll wipe those, I'd say wait til after alpha with the grindier ones.
