something i just thought about, that monster is poison, but do you think the poison is stronger than the exwardens? I could image luffy soloing that monster because he's immuned LOL

He's immune? Since when? I thought he was cured of his poison, not made immune. Still though, the fact that the exwarden is probably more poisonous alone would probably make that thing easy-mode for luffy.

In the beginning of the fishman arc, when luffy first met the squid swordsman, he stung him. Chopper made an important note that luffy has antibodies now that completely removed the poison

Oh ok wow, this arc's boss is a complete sack of s'hit for luffy then. Aside from the weapons of mass destruction luffy can take this guy down easy.

That Nami fanservice was cool. And the silhouette of the mysterious guy looks strangely like an Admiral, but that doesn't explain what is happening to Law.

Welgo looks so freaking strong. I bet he knows Law from his childhood, which is why he keeps making references to how much of a kid he is compared to him. Interesting.

Well, I'm so glad that Kinemon was surprisingly AMAZING. When he was first introduced, I was thinking: really? Another swordsman in the series and his only gimmick is that he can create camouflage? Then his ability to slash fire from his sword struck me as something pretty cool. Then the full capability of his flame powers. The spread page of him cutting the explosion and going all "THERE IS NO FLAME I CANNOT CUT," was INCREDIBLY BADASS. Bravo, I wasn't expecting it from him. If all this screentime for him and coming up with such awesome powers for him is Oda's way of possibly transitioning him into yet another crew member for Luffy, I'd be totally game for it now.

I've also been talking with a friend, and he pointed out how much the crew has gotten knocked out or misleadingly defeated over the past arc. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Robin, Franky, and Luffy are all downed right now for some kind of incredibly BS reason; just as Zoro, Sanji, and Brook seemed as if they were defeated by the Yeti Cool Brothers, but were only "defeated" for an incredibly dumb reason.

I agree and I'm tired of it. It's just fake tension, I want to see the crew just rip into them, FLEX THAT NEW POWER. But one thing I think we can take all this from, New world isn't about brute strength, its more about the mind games, as of thus far.

This chapter is pretty fricken awesome. And an amazing cliffhanger. I can't wait for next week now!

Who was the swordsman in the panel under Pekoms and Baron Tamago? Was that Killer with his mask off?

That small question aside, I did find it very interesting that both Big Mom's men and Kidd, who are supposed to be at war with each other right now, are part of the ring of illegal brokers. I wouldn't have guessed, and it goes to show how far Doflamingo's influence goes. With this chapter and the chapter before, he's really been shaping up into one of the biggest bad guys and smartest villains in One Piece right now. In fact, does anyone remember the scene where Doflamingo was about to kill Moria? He's definitely got a lot of power in the One Piece universe if you speculate on what he's saying then.
