Dyxanije, how good are retz for slingers starting at lvl 40ish, I have noticed that you are always training there on you slinger in the level up thread, yet it is not on the reference tables. I am just curious on if it is good xp, and %/hour, or if it is just meso farming.

After a quick test, I can say that the experience rates at Lower Ascent (not killing stormbreakers) and Tornado Corridor are nearly identical, due to margin of error, but it's both easier to loot and less pot-burning at Tornado Corridor.
This is for a Gunslinger, not an Outlaw.

I never recorded the exp but I can say that the potion burn is really low and the exp and mesos are decent. Hm, I'll probably add Retz later when I am not lazy, but for some reason I thought Retz were already up there. By the way, at level 47 I get roughly 28%-30% an hour. I tried evil dead today using that guys method, even though i still miss on them like ~40% of the time (i'm 87 atm). HOLY CRAP IT'S AWESOME. I get the same amount of exp as gobies with half the effort and virtually no pot cost! Plus it's fun training.
![]() I'd put it for the 80-90 spots btw. It's really the best training i've found for the late 8x by far. ItzTaylor Wrote:Ya, I already found that lmfao. Never knew it was there till now. And this is exactly why whenever i go there on my CB to bomb them, it's ALWAYS empty. Except for the random 1-3 players that come in every few hours looking to down a BF or HH, lol.

It says you need a party to go to gobies. Personally, I disagree. At level 83, I am earning 22-24% an hour. This is KMS, by the way, and I am pretty damn weak. I am sure a GMS infighter could be earning a lot more EXP per hour than me. However, it is one hell of a pot burn. (200-250 ice cream pops every half an hour!) I believe you should look at gobies again, to me, they seem perfectly viable to train on sololy.

I have made the appropriate changes to the first post.

I recently was training at elderwraiths at evil dead as a F/P mage, what I do is keep poison mist up and slow the elders as they come and then keep them KBed with booster11 explosion (using a maple wisdom staff). at level 88 or something like that, i was getting more than 20% an hour. It's possible to get more if you stand with your mist on the righthand side as it has heavier spawn.

Dyxanije Wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zn7QchnrKQ his typhon video is exactly how i go about it :| but i dont notice him DCing every so often <_< Even if you get the DC glitch, i am getting 20%~30% an hour at typhons at lvl 90, and thats only if i dont fall off when not dcing. AND its with a ~20% miss rate.

I know my friend trained at newties with his F/P wife. I think it was basically a mix of CS and DU with some backspins as well to get stun and crit damage. IDK exactly what he did, i was more worried about a nest golem killing me on my BM than watching him dance.

I trained at newties with Barrage + Backspin blow. Took 2 to 3 hits to kill each jr. newt (Shouldn't go newties in early 120s unless you're partying) and I could ~90% 1hitKO them with SE. Level 1 DS isn't really helpful at newts as it's weak and you're vulnerable through the whole of it, only use it to finish those with a bit of HP left. Was getting 20-30% (with 2x EXP) per hour there partying with a 12x marksman at top, a 10x hermit in the middle and a 109 priest. |
