CMS defeated Pink Been?!

Drop are definitely disappointing, even if the weapons can level up 2 more times and have 3 more base attack. It should give a lot more for the effort required to kill it.

Actually, 2 more level ups is a max of 4 ATT. In addition to the +3 it has on Reverse, it should be a lot better than the reverse.

That gives me reason to believe they aren't done with it's drops yet.

Give me a representation of Pink Been in some form (even a PET). Saying you killed PB is nice, but it needs to give people a motive to keep killing it. I'm sure no one wants to repeatedly kill PB, spending millions of mesos in pots/buffs just so they can get several people bragging rights. Yes, the Timeless weapons drop, but thy can also be forged.

While people can say the same for Zakum and HT after everybody gets Helmed/Pendat-ed, at least they can use that idea of selling Helmets/Pendants to lessen the burden of pots and encourages old timers to go back.

Again, each "epic" boss so far that required a chain of quests to gain access gets a specific piece of equipment that is above and beyond normal equipment. Pink Been is no Pap or Pianus. It should have an epic Pink Been related drop, even if it's a piece of PB that is needed to forge a PB equipment.

1. Zakum = Zakum Helmet
2. Horntail = Horntail Pendant
3. Balrog Boss = Balrog shoes (can be scrolled to be godly)
4. Pink Been = ???

If I want to really stretch it, Pap gives you a Ludi cape.

Yes, they can be forged, but the only way to get the items to forge them is to kill Pink Been. Also, Spadow says there may be a Timeless Pendant. Maybe it'll be better than a Horntail Pendant if it does drop. You cannot forge any of the Timeless weapons without getting Time Fragments, which ONLY drop from Pink Been.

Dunno about a Timeless Pendant, since not even level 120 hats are able to trump a level 50 Zakum Helmet, which gives the impression such unique drops should be the best for that category with no competition.

Timeless Helmet/Pedant? Don't see it likely to happen.

Let's see what Timeless stuff already exist:

Weapon/Armor. Only slots there aren't Timeless equipment for is:

1. Belt
2. Cape
3. Medal
4. Ring
5. Earrings

I'm leaning towards these as possible candidates for a Pink Been exclusive uber gear.

The only way i'll believe CMS (of all versions) killed it legitly, is if they frapped it. No other version is as known for hacking as they are.

Sorry Rusty, but I'd our version is as bad. Think about it, "White scrolls duped" is as good as +7 10% weapons, uber fast attacking hack, we have god moders, vac hackers and nowdays, we have DC hack and Spam lag hack.

Last I checked, CMS hacked, according to many sources, so I couldn't care less if they managed to down'ed Pink Bean.

I hear "CMS beats Zak / HT!" and now Pink Bean, have I not heard no one post in a thread that doesn't talk about them hacking. If that's true, then you shouldn't care if our version takes down PB, since we're not far from them right?

There are skills that take away your HP you know.

I don't think not full HP is enough to convince anyone they aren't hacking since having most of them be not breathing is pretty convincing evidence.

We (including me) find it odd that CMS could have beaten it first even though KMS had Pink Been for much longer. KMS is not even close to beating Phase 6. Also, notice that there are 5 drops or so on the ground? I'm not aware of anything other than Pink Been dropping anything.

Now, unless CMS has some crazy attack pot or something, I'm not convinced that it was not the work of hackers. They could have taken damage at the end to make it look legit, and very well could have god-moded it. Not saying that they did, but vid or I'm not convinced.

Isn't the HT Pendant better than the Timeless then?

It could "potentially" reach 29 of any one stat, but it could also go the other way and give you only 19 of one stat. Also, Chaosing a HTP will be much easier than Chaosing a Timeless.

Guess this means killing Pink Bean is officially useless.

I'm gonna call this picture fake, I'll give reasons why:



I take you take a look at a few things.

1.) Where is the DK doing the Spear Crusher (or fury, sorry if I'm wrong)?
2.) Why are half the items on the ground, or I mean, some.
3.) Why is PB doing an attack animation, and not his death animation!
4.) Why is part of the screenshot cut off?

well it's 19-29 to all stats at level 5. and it has 3 slots which probably have uber scrolls too
