Perhaps, but I don't believe it. Halo was left for last with very little info last year. This year it's most certainly the most waited game for most xbox one owners.
343i has been working for years on the title, and it's the reason why Halo MCC was outsourced to other companies.
Plus, they are making quite a big deal of following fan feedback.
In the end, this looks to me as a matter of opinions.

Anyone else found it insanely awkward/weird when Activision said ps4 is the NEW home of CoD?

Also, I was excited about the Star Wars music until they revealed it was Disney Infinity.

More Star Wars Battlefront! Now I am excited.

Amazing now I get to actually experience FFVII myself instead of vicariously through my older brother while he played.

I wonder if it will be somewhat like Advent children.

Bethesda's conference was pretty good for their first offering, no really big surprises though. Doom was looking pretty good but not my sort of game. I'll get Fallout and Dishonoured in like a few years time when the game of the year editions are out and on sale…

The Nintendo World Championship was okay. I thought the Smash tournament last year was pretty good too but a little rough around the edges. This year it seemed even rougher. They really could do with getting better production values. But the Mario Maker finale made the whole show.

Xbox and Ubisoft shows were solid too. Although it did feel like I had accidently watched the same conference as last year with all the Division and Rainbow 6 stuff. The backwards compatibility thing really caught my eye for Xbox. That's really appealing to me depending on how many titles they can get to use it.

So the Shenmue and FF7 rumours were true after all. I'm so glad now I'll never have to hear about them again.

The Sony one overall was alright too but I expected something more I guess but I don’t know what. Maybe some more Morpheus stuff? The holo lens demo Microsoft had was pretty awesome. Although I did like the Uncharted bit at the end. It was so good you had to see it twice.

Oh and EA what a bore. I already know going into it that 50% is going to be sports but Christ. The Battlefront stuff at the end almost made up for it.

Milkin dat FF7 Cow real good Square Enix. The new trailer definitely has an Advent Children vibe to it. I'm curious to see how the gameplay will turn out, if they'll keep the old school ATB system or make it more Action RPG-esque like with Crisis Core and FF XV. I'm guessing it'll probably be the latter with the Advent Children influences.

And it looks like the Last Guardian, Shenmue III, and FF XV actually have a chance of being released before I die of old age. Glorious E3, all round.

Shenmue 3 Kickstarter is already near $1 million. Not surprised at all considering Kickstarter actually crashed for a bit.

Shenmue 3 is fully funded now with only the stretch goals left but i'm sure they will probably reach them too. Shame the rights to Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2 are owned by Sega so no chance of HD remakes of them to go along with 3.

I can't believe they didn't give a launch date for Fire Emblem Fates in the West, when there's 10 days left till release in Japan...
