7 dead because shooter couldn't get laid

I'm asking my best friend who is about to graduate as a psychologist. The interesting thing is that he himself is a 24 year old virgin, but he takes some weird pride in it.

Why wouldn't he? There are multiple subsets of virgins; ones like this loser who eventually snap and start killing people, ones that don't care one way or another, ones that have realized that having a significant other is inefficient, and some scattered through the middle. I have a whole other set of circumstances, the simplest explanation is "3DPD", though that doesn't really go far enough at this point. I don't necessarily disagree with him on a lot of points, I just think he gave too much of a pomegranate what other people thought of him and it consumed his mind until he became an unlikeable plantain in a love/hate relationship with the rest of humanity. Just think, if he'd given less of a pomegranate, eventually he might have become just like me! What an incredible, bright future he had ahead of him, hohoho

I'm almost done reading this dude's book now, it's about as funny as I thought it would be. I would best term it "artificially high brow"; he tries to fit so many complicated words in that it gives the opposite effect, generally because another, simpler word would have been a better fit in many places. He's also a self-centered douche, as one would expect after watching that video and reading snippets of stuff from the book in the thread. He can't understand why nobody likes him even as a teenager, then turns around a talks pomegranate about even his best friends as soon as their lives get slightly better than his.

Watching this entire thing unfold I couldn't help but feel like he was the little Joffrey Lannister character irl.

What terrifies me more is how much rape culture is perpetuated... just look at the comments...

Ugh, this is yet another painful stain on humanity. The guy's already far better off than the majority and he thinks his 1st world problem warrants killing people? Clearly the parents never gave him a hard slap across the face for doing something stupid. His social reputation is already tarnished because who'll want to date a killer. He pretty much worsened his own "problem", and self fulfilled the very thing that'll bite him back in the ass down the road.

Those comments are indeed disturbing. We clearly need to have some discussions about why these lone gunman rampages have become so prevalent in the US. At this point, we have to own up to some responsibility and figure out what can be done about it.

August 5th came quickly, and I prepared myself to be in a pleasant mood to meet them. Their names were Ryan and Angel, and to my dismay, they were of Hispanic race. In addition, the two of them were already friends with each other, which meant that they could possibly gang up against me if any conflicts were to arise. They seemed like rowdy, low class types...this was extremely disappointing. I was hoping I would get decent, mature, clear-cut housemates. Instead I got this low class scum.

I found out that my mother was actually dating Jack, the wealthy man who owned the Malibu beach
house. I always thought he was only her friend. My mother never told me or my sister about any men
that she dated. She always kept that strictly private. I hadn’t even met Jack yet. He was worth well over
$500 million, and he owned other mansions in Bel Air and Beverly Hills.
When I found out about this, I started to harbor the hope that my mother will get married to this

It's more or less a mixture of "I'm saving myself for the 'right' person" + "I'm too cool and not cool enough for the right person, anyway... if it exists" + (I'm not sure about this) "There's something poetic?
