The counter doesn't reset.

You still have a soul counter without having a soul. You get weapon attack for it.

I know it swaps weapons when you tag, but that shouldn't affect this the way you think (if zero is in kms).

You have to use the soul enhancer before you put the soul on anything...

You don't just get it automatically...

This has been great information and all, but does anyone know where a list of the passive effects (as well as active ones) for each boss soul could be found? Or point me in the direction of the raw data so I can atleast see it all and perhaps compile it somewhere.

I've gotten from normal mode. No luck on hard mode, and no idea about ranked.

I've got a few from hard, about one per 6 kills, with a wolf underling and 35% drop gear

If so, I could use AB Link for +45% Damage for 20s, Mu Gong Soul for another 30% for 20s, and Infinity for some amazing burst damage.

Nope, they don't.

I tested Ephenia's buff, and it lasted 3 minutes compared to Shadow Partner (with 21% Buff Duration) that lasted 3 minutes and 38 seconds. Not sure if this applies to Mu Gong's buff (and every other Soul Skill buff), but Ephenia's buff doesn't appear in the top right corner, so that could also be attributed to why Buff Duration doesn't affect Soul Skill buffs.

I guess I could farm Mu Gong and try it myself, unless someone here actually has Mu Gong already. But I might just stick with Balrog in that case.

I'm wondering if I should get a Mu Gong or a Hilla soul. I have 5 of each shard at the moment, but not sure which to equip for my future new weapon.
