I get that they need characters for their TV show and all but they don't need to be in the game. Also there are more than enough current characters to pick from without having to create new ones.

Eh, not all the characters they created were that bad. I had a soft spot for Cream the Rabbit in Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Heroes.

It's not that they're that bad, it's that they can sometimes steal the spotlight.

Wow, this design conversation was past old. Also, I believe they were going for the oversized pigtails look for Sticks.

The only character I ever had an issue with was Silver the hedgehog. It felt like, after Shadow had kind of become a friend of Sonic they needed a new character to fill up the rival job, just like Shadow had already replaced Knuckles.

And it looks like Silver had already been promoted to another friend. When's the last time we saw him? Also, how does Shadow consider Sonic as a friend?

Shadow would never admit it, just as Gajeel wouldn't admit to be friend with Natsu for example. They will still work together to beat Eggman or whatever though.

She's cool but she reminds me a lot of Marine.

If anything i'd say shes gonna be a supporting character in the game and an extra one for the tv show for more storylines. 4 players = 4 original chars in the trailer = no space for Sticks.

This reminds me of Crash bandicoot when it was sold over to valve. A lot of similar changes were made to the whole franchise that ended up burying the character forever.

RIP my childhood video game hero</3 I still play some of the games on my ps2 from time to time add spyro to the list of ruined characters as well.

I won't pass too much judgement on the game until it comes out/I get a chance to play it, though.

Looks fun to me. And co-op? I'm sold.

huh, it looks way more fun than I was expecting.

A bit telling though that the 3 bosses shown so far are all beaten the same way (by lassoing items/enemies and throwing them at it)

I really like to hear Shadow's introduction into the story. Are to assume Robotnik's family exist in the Sonic Boom world too? But yea, why'd we go from overly buff to bandages to normal looks?

Maybe they wanted to make the main characters stand out against their recolored enemies? (Shadow, Metaru Sonikku)
