He was saying he thinks the chances of us getting shanghai next year is 100%.

Oh and I hate Shanghai such an ugly and pointless place.

Shanghai? Yeah, there's nothing there. Before Leprechauns, we may have been interested in the chance of obtaining Steelies, but now Steelies are fairly easy to obtain.

We have tons of useless places in MS. Sleepywood dungeons are dead. The area around Perion is completely unused (except Perion Street Corner and Land of Wild Boar), the area between Kerning and Lith is never used. El Nath monsters are never trained on. Omega Sector is a vast wasteland except for quest whor- ahem- kings.

And I liked it better when almost everything was reachable through the Orbis ticket lady.

Something small an stupid to tide us over between awesome town that just came out and awesome town we're waiting to come out. Enter Shanghai. Now, Shanghai being the craptastic place that it is, would likely come alongside some of the more minor updates we're lacking. Those might include:

Well the fact that in the Holiday blog entry prose told us to do our quests kinda tells me they're leaning twords january, also as I recall Prose said they wanted to release all of Crimsonwood keep during part 1, but there was a problem with something and they couldnt fit it in time, so they left it out, meaning its bound to be pretty much finished. These 2 facts lead me to believe its going twords January, but they just left it vague in case something goes wrong and they need to build in extra fudge time.

Anyway, Monster book may take a bit of work for them since they'll have to create the cards for Amorian/Masterian monsters as well, unless those got made in another version and I dont know about it o_o.

Monster book would keep me tided over for a long time, its suited more twords the game player, casual types, the GRIND GRIND GRIND people may not enjoy the update, but I sure as hell hope it comes early on in the year.

It's very hard to predict what where getting literally up to 7 months down the road. We know for a fact we're getting CWK Part II in the first Quarter of 2009, unless it's delayed. Also, Nexon has had plenty of time to develop areas of Masteria. I was predicting a part of Krakia this year, and possibly Versal. That clearly didn't happen. It's very likely that we could see some of those areas soon in 2009, now that they've had so much time to develop them.

We also have random as World Tours, Ereb and Cygnus, Time Temple, Elin, Maker Skill, Monster Book and more. Really, all the content that is out in other version could hold us off for more than a year itself, let alone new content.

I think many people are reading prose's comment wrong. I believe that he meant they thought it would be a good idea to release half of crimsonwood in August rather than wait on the rest of it to get finished and end up releasing the whole thing in January instead. I don't think it was something too big or wouldn't fit or whatever, because really that concept is ridiculous.

As for monster book, they've had a year to make cards of Masteria and Amoria monsters. Besides, they could always release it without exclusive cards like ThaiMS did. Also the grinders can get the cards for the monsters they train on and enjoy the experience boost for a while XD

If we don't get monster book soon, all those bait are going to rot... Sad

But seriously, if we get CWK cards, this can be very interesting... Because I'm sure there'll be many interesting buffs coming from them, too.

Hands +50, anyone?

I thought Shanghai was good training for levels 10~25.

Not a town, just a dungeon area with a misleading name. Ulu roughly translates to "abandoned" so it's really more like "abandoned city".

but yeah, either way I don't see that coming to GMS.

I hope we get maker skill soon. I keep blowing all my money on ores. I am ready to capitalize on my investment.

Haha I know what you mean. I have quite a few ores that I have stocked up ready to make me some new equips, mainly diamonds, topazes, garnets, and DEX crystals. DEX crystals are kinda hard to come by though... This will also motivate me to train since you need monster etc to forge stuff. Excellent
