This episode had some nice action and exposition.

The pacing really is that of a long-running series. I don't think they'll be able to cover everything with 16 episodes.
I just hope season 2 doesn't take too long to come out.

Its too short though. 3-3.5minutes per episode is just not worth the week wait. If the animation and everything was perfect you might be able to justify it, but its not perfect.

Can you tell me how long it was?

The worst part of the anticipation is it might all be building up just for the episode to only be 2-3 minutes long. I don't know what to do with all the hype I've got left when it's over. If I know the length I know what to expect.

It's actually longer than the episodes have been. I can't give an exact number because heck if I know how to read time lengths (no visible time bar). The entire time I watched it, though, I thought "This is too good, it's gonna end pretty soon though..." and it didn't end. So you will not be disappointed, I say.

Episode was a bit bland. The end was a nice touch.

Make-shift bunk beds are going to kill someone, I swear.

Also obvious continuity error @3:12 bugged me.

I like the uniforms. Ruby's hand looked odd when she was drawing. Did that professor hit on Yang, or all huntresses? lol, Ruby's face at 4:48

Ah yes, and dorm life begins now.

Blake acting out of character? Really now, I thought all we knew of her was the few moments on screen where she didn't do much. Maybe going through the trial opened her up a bit to her teammates, plus some off screen character growth.
