Only 12 Link Skills?! How the hell do they expect to keep us making the new classes if they limit the number of Link Skills we can have?

Well, sorry Mihile. Looks like you just became worthless since most of the newer classes get stance.

The only reason why 12 link skills seems like a small number, is cause currently gms has 11, and we are getting 3 more. Kms doesnt have jett/hayato/kanna. So they have 11 link skills atm. So 12 link skills for them is fine. We will have to say something to Nexon NA about it when the patch comes for gms.

Link skill characters can have all the best links. Characters would still have to make sacrifices with a 12 cap. You can say whatever you want but the cap is reasonable and they won't have an unreachable cap because that's stupid as f'uck.

my only concern with the 12 cap is that possibly 2 new classes was coming out soon?(the whole alpha and beta thing) Pushing us into 16 link skills, and if they keep the cap at 12, we will have to be making some choices about which to keep and what not, And the possibility of a NEW JMS class(not sure, because as others have stated, it might just be xenon/da for them, but its a small possibility) Would put us at 17. Then we will have to be very picky about which links we want. What im hoping nexon of kms does is when they release the 2 new classes(if they do) is that they raise the limit by 1 or 2.

But as things stand out, having 14 links and only 12 links skills is fine, because not everyone needs mihile/+anything you deem as worthless

So your reason for the cap being too low is because the cap can be reached? Ok.

In simple sense yes, its because the cap can be reached and over shot, and in another sense no. By no i mean i understand us having 14 links and 12 only available there are 2 we can say we dont want, my concern is for the future, with the new classes coming out, its going to keep bumping our numbers well past 14 and if the limit stays at 12, we will have to start sacraficing some that we would rather actualy have. So my answer is yes/no o....o

But on topic, if you dont want the hayato link its fine, but havin the card set i recommend, that 6% min crit OP on classes with very high crit rates.

I find it a bit funny that Nexon is giving us a cap on Link Skills, as if Link Skills are "Too powerful" or something. It's not like leveling to 70/120 is even remotely hard nowadays with all the stupid and ridiculous things we have access to (NLC, MPEx, LHC, Evo World, etc).

Perhaps, instead of a limit on the number of Link Skills, there should be a limit on the sum of the levels of all your link skills, making it so you can choose between receiving level 1 or level 2 of a link, so you don't have to have a level 70 and a level 120 link skill mule, and they'd have to make the Cygnus link level more linearly rather than +2%, +3%, +2%, +3%, etc. Then you can choose level 2 on all the really good links, and then go level 1 on less useful ones, or forgo them altogether. Not sure what a good limit would be for that system, though.

What if there were something of a point system? Every link skill you have is on every character, and you can raise the skills up/down levels as you see fit? For that, I'd see a cap of 20 points as no big deal. You could have the ones you really need at lv2, and others just none.

Let's say I'm a Demon Avenger, for example. Passively, I get Lv2 Battle Rage, so that will be excluded. Assuming every class gets lv2 link (except cygnus, which get multiple levels):

Xenon: 0 pts
Kaiser: 2 pts
Angelic Buster: 1 pts
Kanna: 2 pts
Hayato: 1 pts
Luminous: 2 pts
Phantom: 2 pts
Mercedes: 1 pts
Cannoneer: 2 pts
Demon Slayer: 2 pts
Mihile: 0 pts
Jett: 2 pts
Cygnus: 2 pts

You would have very customizable builds that depend on how you as a player want to use the character.
