Over an hour later... everything hurts.

I was waiting for this episode for a long time. And it did not disappoint in the slightest.

I knew exactly what was going to happen, but still, watching it had me shaking with how brutal and emotional it was. I wasn't expecting Robb's wife to be killed so horribly, and i got chills when they locked the door and the music changed, the realization on Catelyn's face was beautifully well acted.

I can't wait to see Lady Stoneheart, I love Catelyn's actress, and I'm glad she is still going to be in the show

Indeed. This really renewed my hatred of the Freys and Boltons. I am extremely looking forward to the Northmen (such as the Manderlys) and Lady Stoneheart slowly taking their revenge on the Freys and Boltons. Those sons of b'itches.

The biggest shame is that we have to wait around a year for season 4 and the rest of this book. I really enjoy the acting and their interpretation so the wait is definitely going to be painful.

Indeed. This really renewed my hatred of the Freys and Boltons. I am extremely looking forward to the Northmen (such as the Manderlys) and Lady Stoneheart slowly taking their revenge on the Freys and Boltons. Those sons of b'itches.

I'm thinking (and hoping) that the next episode will show Beric Dondarrion finding Catelyn's body and resurrecting her. It's a scene that happened off-screen in the books and was only mentioned later on, but I think it would be an awesome scene to end season 3 on, akin to the dragons being born and the white walkers of the past 2 seasons.

I know right. some of the reactions are funny and some of them are just downright stupid. I saw one saying "If i knew where GRRM was I'd go and beat the fat fucker up" and various other violent threats.
Also people considering cancelling their subscription or not watching anymore because it's too dark. really? they are only getting this now? Game of Thrones has never been a comedy, ever. You'd think they would have learned from the whole Ned Stark thing, that it's the good guys who suffer and this is no different. Around the time of the 5th book things are starting to look a lot more positive anyway.

But then in a way, it's great because it shows that, for once, the characters aren't immortal. They're kind of like people like us. There's no main character and anyone can die any time.

Especially since there was some kind of foreshadowing in S02E05:

There was a good amount of foreshadowing (although some of it was subtle) that could have given away the high possibility of the Red Wedding. Although there was a lot more in the books imo, especially once the Northerners starting negotiating with Lord Frey/reached the Twins.

The music change really did it for me. Something like that is subtle (way more so than the closed doors) and yet so powerful. I of course knew it was coming, but seeing

was brutal in a way that I had almost forgotten.

I'm usually amongst the first readers to criticize the TV version, but I really appreciate it when the writers take advantage of the visual and auditory cues that aren't available in writing.

It was bad enough watching the episode, but having to hear Robb gasp and die like 30 times was physically painful. Oddly enough, I was cracking up at those reactions while also feeling mildly horrible

That woman with the blanket... oh god her reactions were amazing, especially when her dog was like "What? WHATS UP?" she literally was crying in a corner like "no I don't want any more"

And that was only after the first death haha, the rest were even more entertaining

I like how a TV show can cause such powerful reactions.
