Pokémon Black and White 2

Got my copy of Black 2 today after work roughly at 1ish. Been playing basically all day/night. Just got my 4th badge.

Started out with Snivy. I was super surprised to find a Psyduck so early on. And then I found a wild Growlithe, which made me super happy. Got my Genesect via the wifi event, but I'd rather not use him on my team. So far my team is along the lines of...Servine, Growlithe, Trapinch, Trubbish, Psyduck, Tranquill. Trubbish has actually really grown on me. He's a freaking tank. Not to mention that his next evolution can learn some electric moves and such.

I'm super impressed with this game so far! And I do feel like the difficulty of it has gone up quite a bit, too. I find myself actually needing Potions/Revives frequently.

Global Link anyone?

For Black/White 2, they gave everyone a new home to start with, so everything is individual to the Game Card. I'm not sure this was the case with Black vs White, but at any rate, yay.

Also they removed the DP requirement for accessing new areas through the Island of Dreams, and added new areas (and Pokemon). Y'all should check it out, since there's a lot of cool stuff through there.

QUIRKY RIOLU OBTAINED. FINALLY, I CAN MOVE ON!

Quirky is... kinda sucky, though. :/

Grinding a bit and just passed the first gym. Currently, my team is:
Lonely Riolu
Lonely Snivy
Adamant Magikarp

Caught my first growlithe

Got me a Jolly Riolu it only took me less than 5 mins when I realized he was in the ranch thx to the Habitat locator
This game is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Found a growlithe with a nature that lowers sp.atk, then I was like know what, I used growlithe in HG, so I'm just gonna look for a ponyta or something.

Also Jed, screw you and your amazing nature luck. My team is a Naughty Sewaddle, Quirky Riolu, and Quiet Oshawott. Not bad.
I would be using my mareep or magnemite or growlithe, but I don't want to fill up my team too fast. First pokemon game where I might have a team that I swap pokemon out for later on. [/COLOR]

Can you trade from Black/White to Black 2/White 2 immediately?

Because if You can, I want to to decide which pokemon I'm going to trade over (Since I already caught every pokemon except that stupid Purugly Evolution line that is exclusive to pearl, ugh). Don't want to waste time hatching 6 eggs to start the game with if I can't trade them.

No, like every other verison it isn't immediate. However you can synch up YOUR story specifically if you put in the game code. I think its the register code or something

You can link it by using 2 DSes or by linking it to your other game card on your Global Link ID, which is a great idea by Nintendo, no need for 2 DSes yay

Yeah, I didn't mean immediately, like, when you get however far you need to unlock trading, which is never that far. As opposed to having to finish the game to unlock trading (as is usually the case when you 're trying to pass pokemon between generations). I guess what I meant is, can you trade pokemon from Black/White to Black2/white 2 as soon as you unlock trading, or do you need to finish the entire game first to access something similar to poketransfer.

yard sale got me some extra money, so i'm out to get it tomorrow.
hopefully they'll have copies of black 2 if not i'm going to pout

Well, finished with Black And White 2 now...seriously, I couldn't care less about all this Nature and IV bullcrap either way.
(Seriously, since when was pokemon...this? I find no fun in doing all that.)
And if there's one thing I regret is that I should have faced all the trainers, I need to finish the Unova Dex still -_-

Might not be getting my Black 2 until christmas.

I only look for natures for pokemon I want to use in Battle Frontier stuff, or w/e it's called in this game. Unless I get something that reduces the attacking stat of the pokemon I want, then I'll look for another one.

And that reminds me, training gonna be a breeze in this game. People sell level up items that level like 3 levels at once ( expensive though), rare candies only 24bp now, ev reducing berries, that thing in black city where you can battle people (not really sure how that works) etc.
