ShiKage's Ultimate Hayato Guide
#41
Yeah, and Link just said in Zelkova's livestream to 100 that the Dodge skill for 3rd Job does in fact work. So it seems GMS hasn't broken anything, just messed up skill descriptions.

Yeah. Yanagi Yoke most definitely works on GMS. The animation shows up and no damage is taken, so that's good enough for me.

Can't you max those later with the spare 4th job sp at 18x or do they only work for the 4th job skills?

Each job advancement's SP is specific to that job advancement. So... You can only use 4th job SP on 4th job skills.

No.

Tempest officially split up each job's SP, even for Adventurers if memory serves. You can no longer distribute free SP in any job for any class.

What would you suggest a Hayato strive for with Inner Ability?

Critical rate, total damage, or boss damage? Something alone those lines.

Thank you so much for being one of the only people to include GMS names!

Oh! That too. It's also good for Willow Dodge's buff.

You're welcome. Tongue

Shintou Mekkyaku is known as Warrior's Heart in GMS. Seems to be the only one in the guide that wasn't name changed

Huh. That's odd. I could've sworn I double checked them all... Thanks for notifying me!

I have two questions.
1. For bossing which is better Sanrenzan or Jinsoku?
2. Why use Falcon dive over Whirlwind cut?
Falcon dive 1 and max:
MP Cost: 25, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Damage: 152%, Number of Attacks: 6, Stun Chance: 24%, Stun Duration: 6 sec, Stunned Enemy Damage Taken: +110%. \nPassive Effect: Shouryuusen, Dankuusen, and Whirlwind Cut Damage +62%
MP Cost: 45, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Damage: 190%, Number of Attacks: 6, Stun Chance: 100%, Stun Duration: 10 sec, Stunned Enemy Damage Taken: +110%. \nPassive Effect: Shouryuusen, Dankuusen, and Whirlwind Cut Damage +100%
Whirlwind cut maxed:
Active Effect: MP Cost: 33, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Damage: 380%, Number of Attacks: 3, Critical When Combined with Shouryuusen: 100%\nPassive Effect: Shouryuusen, Dankuusen Damage: +50%
Level 1 FD damage: 152*6 = 912%
Maxed FD damage: 190*6 = 1140%

Whirlwind (with lvl 1FD) = (380+62)*3 = 1326%
Whirlwind (max FD) = (380+100)*3 = 1440%

Is there something I'm missing or is it used because its movement is different and it hits 2 more mobs?

Link will be able to confirm, but I believe it has to do with iframes and mobility.

Delay reductions, mah boy!

Yousousen gets reduced to nearly 1/4th of its delay when combined with Sanrenzan, so it's significantly faster to cast the two than to even use Senpuuzan at all.

Thanks, and question 1? Sanrenzan or Jinsoku for 1v1? or is Falcon dive + sanrenzan the optimal dps output?

You mean Shinsoku? Jinsoku is your dodge rate skill.

Shinsoku Musou is horrible for every situation, claims JoeTang.

Willow Dodge is not giving the Damage buff... Also Sweeping Sword + Dankuusen is pretty fast, I can clear a map in like less than 3 secs O.o.

IT does give the buff, at i think a 60% rate? I thought it was broken too, but it does not activate as often as you think it would. You do get a significant damage boost when it activates and will notice a buff that lasts a short while (does buff durations increases make it last longer?).

I avoid sweeping sword as it fucks up the camera.

I don't know, I have Willow Dodge maxed and I don't get any buff and the increase in damage doesn't appear. I use the 15% total damage Beginner skill and I notice it but If I dc and cast Dankuusen for example I don't notice any change, even when I stay surrounded by mobs for like 2 mins...
