New FM Exploit/Hack?

My friend played Maplestory 1year ago. Sadly his Computer breaked during the summer holidays 2011. Since his mum doesnt had enough money ,he couldnt buy a computer. He never logged in this Year or something like that (on the website etc.)

Today he logged in and got hacked

But how is this possible????

Database leak on Nexon's part.

His account details are in a poorly secured database that Nexon keeps (like everyone else's) and I'm guessing hackers just run through every account and take anything worth anything.

Nexon's database isn't a thing that leaks on a day to day basis. If anything they just got to your IGN on the list.

I find it funny how some people think that once their accounts got hacked, there is suddenly another database leak.
I doubt Nexon's database is that insecure so that it gets hacked/leaked 5 times in a month.

Maybe there is a trojan installed on Nexon programs lol ¬¬.... BTW I lost nearly all my items....

hacked my Email also.... that basterds... almost changed ALL my info from my Email and Game info.

Do all these hacks involve the email PW being changed?

And just a random question, do you guys play MapleStory Adventures on Facebook? Cause I remember reading some leak about that too

I'm still afraid to log in because of the random bannings and crap.

It seems like a bunch of people are getting hacked. If there really is some sort of leak related to BigWig boxes I suppose I should go change my password...

I've only exchanged boxes between my own accounts, but who knows whether that protects me from the "security risk".

I received but there is a bug that you can't complete the quest and I am afraid if end it lol...

And yes there is a masive Dataleak from the Big Wigs....
