Well the mob isnt related to the quest. But the hiding place is. Maybe that makes it a little easier?

One of the Neo City bosses? (Oberon, Dunas, Aufhaben, etc.)
Pretty sure they explode on death, are part of a quest chain, and came to maple world or whatever to wreak havoc but disguised themselves as angels? (Please excuse me if I have the storyline pineappleed up, haven't done the quests in a few months).

Nibelung, Oberon, and Aufhaven all fit this description.
Nibelung is disguised as a ship and the other two are angels.
Plus no one does those quests because of the relog reset.
