How dare you spoil yourself! If you are going to look at Homestuck fanart, you are to read the webcomic. ALL the webcomic.
No you don't really have to, but you are still ruining things for yourself looking at fanart that SPOILS THINGS.

I think it's near 5000 pages? I'm not sure though.

Close to 5,000 pages, yep.
But I finished it in like two months -with- breaks. John finished it in five days without, lol.

I thought this too due to sheer page count. About 2-3 weeks later, I'm about 600-700 pages away from catching up to the latest updates.

I finished in like, a week after nolifing through it. I realized I missed a TON of stuff though, so I don't advise that route.

Aww. Sucks you missed a ton of stuff. Having Karen, John, and SolarBoy as people to help clarify things and watch me react as I read Homestuck makes it so I pretty much only missed 1% of anything. Best way to read the webcomic, in my opinion.

I went back and read the wiki as well as acts 4 - present, so I didn't miss that much in the end. Just the initial read through I had no idea what was happening anywhere.

That's cool. Does the wiki actually talk about every single page, or does the wiki talk in chunks, like one chunk can be ~4-5 Homestuck pages discussed per wiki entry?

Well I mostly read articles about like, roles and things like that. Reading the obvious missed things thread on the MSPA forums also helps.

Wait. I'm slowly munching my way through this at the moment; what sort of things are there to miss? Besides the walkarounds with trickster mode?

There is so much foreshadowing and so many subtle references in Homestuck that even after having gone through the comic like three times now, I STILL miss some.

Not to mention all of the intricacies of callbacks and character development. That and awesome jokes that you forget due to the sheer mass of material.
How do people here like the new album?

You guys are turning my thread into a discussion thread, aaaahhhhh.
As for the album, I do quite love it. Olive Rogue, Iron Infidel and Fuschia Ruler are among my favorites. 'v'

Well we have no other discussion thread so...
Also Temporal Shenanigans is amazing, I think it's a good summary of Aradia's character.
