This has nothing to do with paranoia. If it was a "crash", Nexon would have found it already, took game down for maintenance saying they were fixing stability issues and would give a time it would end. This last notice only proves that they're confused as hell and don't know what to do.

They already took it down in an update to this notice.

This obviously isn't a hack. This is a very regular cycle of crashes over all worlds that can be predicted and therefore abused.
The "dupers" like the idiot from GK/W8/GS that posted the youtube video are just taking advantage of it. They control the crashes no more than a man who knows the time of an eclipse and uses it to prove that the gods are on his side controls the eclipse.

BBring 1, that was crashes for like half the event, rollbacks, whatnot, to the point where many couldn't even finish one ring

Ring was about 6 minutes away from evolving when I left for class. I really hope it evolved all the way before they decided to take the servers down.

Several people knew which channels were going to crash and at what time.

*walks in* figures out that there was a sever off period. Wastes another 1 hour waiting for a ring that could have been done already qq

This will run all night I'll bet. CS extension, moar 2x, etc etc. I don't think NEXON's being "attacked" either. I know someone who manages a server and there have been a few times when the server was crashing randomly and they had no clue what the hell was going on. It was crashing at fixed intervals. They eventually figured it out and no they weren't being "attacked"

i still think the worst was when BB1 hit, the crashes were random, half of the whole game was DC'd during half of it, scania was hell.

Knowing which ch would crash wasn't very useful when the whole dam server crashed every 15 minutes.

On the plus side, it appears they fixed the rankings glitch where skills (AKA Cannoneer Blessing) didn't count toward equip stat requirements, since I now actually have my 140 set on in the rankings.

I love how maple is the only game that suffers most of the time. I know other nexon games have had their down time but seriously...you'd think the one that makes the most money, they would take better care of.. I know most of the time they have to poke Kms and wait until they fix it but really? Especially if this is just a network issue, I mean they have a technical team dont they?

Mabi was ****ed up so bad script kiddies were killing NPCs, stealing your bodyparts and crashing your characters until the fix, locked out of the game entirely for months for no reason other than having an odd character ID, the works.

They removed exp from Golden Statues . I'm getting no exp for each statue I turn in.
