There are two grates mentioned in MRx09. Assuming you're talking about the one Corn mentioned (the one on the ceiling), you stand on the pedestal and use the carpet to deflect the blood dripping down. You are unable to see anything through the grate- it is covered by the source of the blood. You carefully return the pedestal and carpet, now partially covered with blood, to your inventory before returning to the foyer.

No necklace has been mentioned so far. If you are referring to the bracelet, as prevoiusly mentioned, it appears to be made out of silver. 3 of the 4 charms on the bracelet are spheres. The remaining charm has already been described. You feel comforted by the glow the charm gives off.

The key does not fit the elevator's keyhole. As you approach the left door on the first floor, you hear scratching behind on it. You will need to confirm that you want to open the door.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you're saying to break open the lock of any locked door you find, the only locked door of that you know of can be opened by the key you hold.

The opening at the bottom of the door is visibly too small for the carpet to fit through. The scratching grows louder.

While opening the door use the bracelet light as some sort of shield.

You unlock the door and enter the room. It appears to be some sort of greenhouse, but just as in the foyer, you can see nothing but darkness past the windows. Using the light of your bracelet you can see several rows of potted pants, all of which appear to be dead. The scratching is coming from the far side of the room, which will not be visible unless you move closer to it.

Scream out to the top of your lungs.

You scream. The scratching stops for a moment before restarting. You're pretty sure that you should not do that again.

Move closer to the scratching sound.

Go to the side with scratching.

Take the pots, throw away the dead plants(?) and clean them, then put them inside your inventory (maybe gather some of the blood in one of them).

You add several pots, some of them empty, to your inventory. If you wish, you can try to gather blood an empty pot once you leave the room.

You move closer to the noise. Its source is a rather large animal laying on the floor near the corner of the room, scratching the ground beneath it. You can just barely see a small book poking out from beneath its stomach. Nearby you also see a pile of leaves, some sticks, and a broken pot, as well as more rows of dead plants.

The animal stares at you for a moment before it returns to scratching.

Take the book, but be careful, if the animal doesn't want to give it away, we'll have to find another way.

You slowly move towards the animal, but before you can get too close it begins to hiss at you and prepares to pounce. You quickly back away and soon you are exactly where you were standing before you began your advance.
