I'm assuming that NexonUS has never done stuff like this before then, since they actually bothered to call it a double-take x2 EXP event.

Funnily enough, the miserly Asiasoft has always arranged for x2 EXP/Drop events to have two separate time slots. Every day.

There's no point in even farming ANYTHING that's 6th mapleversary related, because you can't trade in the items for coins, nor use the coins anyways. Unless people plan on farming for certain books / items or whatnot, this event is essentially an "x2 EXP" event only.

Not sure I get you correctly, but the coin trade works just as it should, both weapons to coin and coin to items.

i dunno, because i see no point in farming any weapons bar the 77 ones, everything else goes to the coin furnace.

I didn't even know maple weapons were still dropping; I've been hunting for a 1H sword for the past couple days and haven't gotten a single maple weapon at all.

Last 2x event we had was a "Double-Take" as well. They just didn't call it "Double-Take".

Couldn't we just save up maple items until they become re-tradeable, which is tomorrow, no?

Except it's changed last month to have 4 different time slot instead of 2. Some like it(to have dinner/lunch in the middle) and some don't.
