Emphasizing the fact that this is a rumour before the entire forum goes on some kind of rampage.

I really do hope it's just a rumor. Though the fact that the mule that was transferring all of the stuff from Panacea's characters was named DoezXMule, and before he left guild on his bishop he left a notice saying "DoezX was here, your next Mike" isn't exactly helping.

Get real. I've known the guy for 3 years, he's known Panacea longer. Yet he decided to hack the person he's known longer and who's account is worth less. That makes sense.
There is something else going on, because I've heard of other random hackings in the last 2 weeks as well.
And I've even heard the rumor that remote hack is back, and the person doing it is everyone's old friend DoezX.

To be honest, I don't care what you believe, I just want people to be aware of it. If you think this is FUD, then go for it. I'm not trying to scare people, I'm just trying to inform them that something's not right. I didn't say I didn't believe you It's just fishy he gives someone his info then gets hacked. I don't care what your excuse of he has x many peoples info he's still the number one suspect to be pointed at.

I wasn't accusing you of not believing me. I just want it to be clear that I respect everyone's opinion.
Yours, however, couldn't be farther from the truth. But I don't want to bother arguing.

the maple canon shooter seemed a little out of place tbh.

The bowman stuff you see isn't mine. It all belonged to a friend, which I will eventually need to pay back.
The rest of that stuff is mine. I have multiple jobs due to multiple chars, and the gun happens to be from my mech.

I cannot tell you how this happened, or why it happened, all I know is that it did. There is currently only one person who knows my info, and can attest to the fact that each my UserID, my password, and my PIC could not be acquired merely by guessing, and that somehow they gained access to my info. I do not know from where.
Hi,
My account is in the same position. I was hacked about a week and a half ago. It was via my hotmail accounts, though I am unsure of how he got access to my accounts. As in your situation, only 3 valuable things were taken, My Ewand 6, my overall and my cape. everything else seems to be untouched, though I haven't looked at my mules, I've just been sitting on my account 24/7 since. I also have hardly played in the last 12 - 18 months, and likewise, only one person had access to my account, which would of not been easily guessable, (The hacker just used the Find ID / Password / PIC options once he had gotten into my email accounts (More then 1 of my email accounts were hacked into, 3 hotmail accounts and 1 gmail account.)) That person I trust completely, and has access to my accounts for over 3 years. Haven't been able to find my equips as of yet.
The hacker has left an alternate email, MrFear14@live.com, on my mage account email, and keeps resetting my hotmail and maple account password just about every day. That email I've only found to be related to a hacking in Bellocan 2 years ago. Other then that I don't have any information other then a few IP Addresses that have accessed my hotmail, which could of been easily disgused, and a few probably fake names.

So you were attacked? That's what it seems like to me, an attack hack. Since it's done by a person named "Doezx" and he seems to be targeting someone next named "Mike."

As far as I know, my password has remained the same since I changed it last night. It also remained the same throughout the day whenever my friend changed it for me while I was at work. I'll check now just to make sure, but I don't believe the hacker has access to the account's email, since it's through our cable company and not just some hotmail/yahoo/whatever else email provider.
EDIT: Password has remain unchanged.

I guess I'll provide some background information.
Mike is our guild leader, and happens to be the only one person who had my info when this occurred. I've since changed my password and am the only one who knows it.
We (the guild) were talking about it yesterday later that afternoon when I had time to sit down and assess the losses. I personally have no idea who this guy is, but apparently some of the other members do. They were mostly concerned as to why I was the one hacked, compared to the rest of them who not only have accounts that are worth more, but also play (pretty much) 24/7. Some also believe that it's not this "Doezx" guy, whoever he is.
The only common thread between the two incidents, if you'd like to call it that, is that our leader's FM mule was hacked about 2-3 weeks ago in the same mysterious manner, but I've mentioned that before.
If it is an attack hack I'm more concerned with how it works because I didn't, and don't, have any key loggers, and pretty much only spend my time on the internet either here, Facebook, or sites related to my college coursework.

I have to. I'm obligated to pay back my friend whose equips I had on my character because of the effort he put into getting them. Quitting absolutely wouldn't be very becoming of me.
Essentially, I'm going to start completely from scratch. I don't want to rebuild myself up again on the same account only to get hacked exactly a year later, as has happened to another member here. Once Chaos comes around, I plan to Jewel Craft in order to make back the money that was lost.
And in the end, it's just a game. Had it happened while I wasn't in school I might have been even more upset, but doing that wouldn't change anything. I have to actually -do- something, and getting upset would only make the hacker happy.

Better than any of my guesses, since I was going with "Packet Blocking _________", which wouldn't have made sense in this situation.

most antivirus cannot detect keyloggers on your machine, did you think the hacker who wrote the keylogger wouldn't have scanned it with dozens of AV before planting it on your machine?
Go get yourself a good firewall instead (try COMODO)

And iirc, you have to download something in order to get a key logger. I don't download anything from Facebook, and if they managed to get a key logger into a program I need for college, then kudos.
I'll consider your suggestion, though.

Keyloggers are one of the most overused incorrect excuses for being hacked. As far as I've seen, most people are not stupid enough to download random sh`it.
