What are your personal thoughts on polygyny or polyandry?

Not only no, but HELL NO! If I had that "instinct" to just have more, or if I actually "wanted" more, I wouldn't do specific things to make damn sure that didn't happen. I have 4 as it is, I certainly don't have a continued "need" or "want" to have any more. It honestly has absolutely nothing to do with society. If I worried an ounce of what society thought, I probably would have stopped at 2.

Thread topic= What are your personal thoughts on polygyny or polyandry?

That pretty much equates to opinion.

Is that why you keep re-entering the thread and double-posting? To repeatedly shove your opinion and the irrelevant stories about your personal life? So it is perfectly fine for you to disagree with my opinion, but you have a problem when I disagree with the opinions of others?

TaliaNCo Wrote:LOL no worries. There is a reason my best friend in the world is a man lol. Women are crazy.

Men tend to be just as crazy, more so in some cases. In fact, the human race is nothing more than a ballet of insanity.

Lol, that's like saying "If I had known where the thing was, I probably would've found it by now."
There is NO polygamy because of the emotional distress. Though I do find it interesting to try and simulate the feeling in the same situation if the sperm ratio somehow were 2:1. Thing most likely would be different.

They only have one queen, I'm pretty sure I heard they wanted the queen all for themselves, but situation dictated that they couldn't complain about it. Have you?

It's hard to tell what part of your intuition is basic instinct and what is adopted social etiquette. Then again, don't a small number of mammals also participate in monogamy? Wouldn't that mean it is as natural (and not just social) as polygamy, just maybe not as likely for human without any other factors? There is also this.

If anyone wants to see what a polygamy family is like you can watch sister wives on TLC.

I think they only other animal that only(should) have one mate in their life is Penguins. To be honest, its not something that would bother me,but not something I would want. I believe in true love and such, I don't believe it can be shared.
