Which version are you buying

I didn't really like Black & White. Played White until the fifth badge and... kept getting the impression that although the graphics are very good, there are too many unnecessary animations that turn the gameplay very, very slow. Specially in battles :S
Not going to get any, at all.

Turn animations off?

@above: regardless, it's a pretty crass statement.

Really? I've heard from most other people that these games are actually faster than 4th gen, even with animations on.

I mean, the animations for when you start the battle. Everything it starts, the camera spins, the pokemon shows up, or you have to see that trainer animation throwing the pokeball EVERYTIME you get into a battle. Really, it's pretty well made, but it just makes things go a lot slower.
Maybe i'm used too much to the oldies where battles were twice fast as those, but, i just had this impression. :S Battles were nice in the beginning, but turned into a pain due to the slowness.

No o.o

It's exclusive to the DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS.

That's what I thought, but FlameChocobo made it sound otherwise.

They're trying to make it more realistic I think XD I popped my Silver in the other day and the battles used to be this epic blandness thats just amazing. Trainers here, pokemon out, no animation all done. I've heard from a couple people B/W is like playing Red and Blue all over again and arguably even better then that

This

I think that's what gamefreak was getting at this time. I mean, I'm pretty sure even THEY understand the series was starting to get really bland. Hopefully, the 3DS would let them be creative again with future instalments.

:o Surf.

I can picture the tiny water gun built into the 3DS that squirts you when some water-type moves are used.

:o Sweet Scent

Yum.

Yeah. As long as you put cash down on it. Gamestop would give me my money back as long it it's only cash. Credit from trade-ins and other promotions turn into store credit.

Edit: I'm playing White version right now. Smile

OK, So, Future shop has this deal, where you can trade in two console games to get both black and white for FREE. I'm wondering if I should do it. The games on their list that I have are:
DKCR
LoZ:TP
Galaxy
Galaxy 2
Brawl
PBR
Super Paper Mario
Wario Ware
