Error code 38 on entering cash shop

I think I found a problem related to the situation, it applies to both of my characters that are stuck and doesn't apply to a few characters I tested that are okay.

Normally when you go over your EXP bar or your name, you can see your current exp/total exp + your id, channel respectively. On glitched characters, nothing pops up.

Does it apply to anyone else? Anyone can find some insight into this?

hmm i think it happens to me.

when i leave my mouse over my char's name, it appear NULL instead of server/ch.
i will check when im home.

I see my info just fine when I hover.

As for NULL, you get that instead of account name when you're logged in from web server. I don't know when you get NULL for server-ch though.

Mines normal, current/total EXP and ID/channel/character name show up normally. Yet, I'm still getting the dc issue for Cash Shop

This issue turned out to be a stumper for our programmers. In our test environment we tested this many times and were not able to reproduce it. But we know it's happening by all the reports we have received from users. Let me assure you that this is a top priority task and we are actively working on finding the cause of this.

That...breaks my heart...

Not being able to buy cubes and not being able to buy 2x drop when I seriously need it.

One helpful/temporary fix? RELEASED CASH SHOP TRADING ROOM!
(that does work for things like 2x cards and karma right?)

Damn incompetents.

But the cash shop maintenance on Nov 30th cured it, albeit only for a few hours. And I was able to send some eTracer reports too. Nothing gives them a clue?

Damn.

So now that the community (in the person of Locked?) has figured out a way I can Zakum, I still can't get Karma to sell the helms I loot?

And yeah, cash shop trading room, now! Or, you know what, at least let us put cash shop items in the regular storage, so I can buy karma on my mule and transfer it to my main?

(Mind you, inside the ticket I wrote it's a follow-up to a ticket that got this form response. Didn't stop them from giving the same form response again. God, how I hate those <censored> robots and the <censored> greedy bastards that hire them.)

Just great . This glitch isn't listed in the patch notes. We can all still hope though .

Can't really hope after what NxHazda wrote... "stumper for our programmers" "not able to reproduce"... jeez...
I'm sure at least one of the people with the problem lives in the LA area. Have them go to Nexon offices and log in on a machine with a debug client version, and go in cash shop.
(Or do it yourselves, surely Nexon has ways of logging on our accounts?)

Well come January any leveling, boss hunting, etc. I could possibly do will go out the window unless this issue is fixed... no pet means no bossing or training because my attention can't be focused on attacking and healing at the same time. Plus I have a item or two I'd like to try and get out of the Cash Shop for my main character...

Maybe the Nexon developers should stop using a DEBUG version and use the RTM version... dunderheads!!!

My char got glitched today, and what a shock to find out my auto Hp pot died overnight. How wonderful. Maybe it has something to do with expiring items. I could sure as hell go into CS before today.

I thought that's what eTracer is for.. allowing developers to reproduce the bugs more easily.

I'm betting it has something to do with the fact people have Permanent Items... don't know why...

@Obelisk: My Hero had this glitch for at least a week before the auto-hp pouch expired.

@Jamie: Both my Hero and my Bishop have perma transparent hats. The Hero is blocked from cash shop, the Bishop is not.

It could be something we have in inventory, or some aspect of inventory (expanded slots?), but apparently it's not trivial.
It also seems to afflict high levels more than low, but that may be due to something high levels tend to be carrying around (charms?)

But seriously, eTracer told me at least twice that it succeeded in sending them its log file. Maybe it needs to start taking full crash dumps instead of just logs?

I have no charms. Haven't had them in months. Approximately 8. As for expanded slots, I have them.
