When I created this site, I only created it for my extractions and so that I could post it freely without anyone breathing down my neck for "openness" or "don't you trust me?". Having a community was only a second thought. So as much as I have enjoyed the community that has been created here, my first and foremost obligation to Southperry was, is, and always will be extractions. So no, don't plan on socializing.

To each his own. I just hope that the time you spent providing a resource for others is compensated and compounded many times and in many ways down the road.

I've kicked this game's ass and hand-fed it to fans, haters and rip-offs. And i'll stop when i'm good and ready.

Seriously, you're one of the reasons why i have trouble quitting this game, The fact that MS has so much information available regarding it now thanks to you is why its one of most accessible games I've ever played. I've pretty much been able to start every single class in this game and know EXACTLY how to build a new character in a class i never even TOUCHED and achieve good results and not regret my build, and not even following someone else's SP build guide. I've gone through mob data and made my own satisfying grind spots 'Where to grind' threads have overlooked.

Its so frustrating to play other games and not be sure exactly how useful a certain stat is or just how much of a boost changing from one gear to another is until i've made the investment and ended up regretting it.

Upon seeing how having access to so much knowledge of the game has kept me so addicted to it over the years, i'm amazed that other MMOs aren't smart enough to leak their formulas and achieve the same results.

To be on topic: I only found out about SP through a friend in-game that kept mentioning it.

No, I originated on Basil as well. I heard about it all of the time on Maple. I was once redirected from there to SP when extractions were originally being posted, though I didn't stick around. Then I came back at the release of CWKPQ to see if there was anything and made an account to PM Isaac, as he was an admin and extractor (I didn't know him at the time) and he linked me to a SUPER SECRET EXTRACTION. I then lurked SP for a while, while trying to get through to Basil. Finally got tired of the latter and started posting here.

There's also some lore about me descending from the heavens in order to bathe SP in a glorious light. Believe whichever you choose.

About 80% of the Basil community, at least during my stay, absorbed literally no information. Not only that, but their posting style was like that game, "Telephone", where you say one thing and see how it comes back to you in the end. For some reason, I thought I could stop this. I was mistaken.

I'll answer to the question in the old thread: I heard about sp from my friends, so I started lurking. Then I was linking some thread from southperry and I got a warning. I got mad, so I contacted the admins about it. I heard there was a rule (not written in the rules of the forum), only based on personal reasons of Adura, I went straight to sp and made myself an account.

Hell, people deserve the credit for the work they have done and I will still credit to southperry even if it means getting banned.

btw, basil filter can be bypassed in many ways.

I have no idea who any of those people are. Any of them. However, I joined in September, 2008. Is this bad?
