To be fair, most of the people in there were near or at level 200 already. An exp bonus wouldn't be that great, plus many of us lost millions of exp in that fight, since each death took its full toll. As for money.... Considering all the apples we used, unless it really were a billion meso per person, I don't think it'd matter too much.

Seems you're always a run ahead of us in Broa lol. We got it down to 50% a couple days ago, and we were down our strongest BM, who has the hp to tank pb and another top attacker due to spam hack. We will prolly down it our next try ;/

And really only a couple people on the run are fully potentialed so far

I would assume then it's due to Pink Bean originally being an "unbeatable" boss. Other servers were only able to kill it when it got nerfed (12 hour timer) I think. We have potential gear and apples, most of us aren't fully potentialed, but still. We also have chaos pendants and chaos helms in our arsenal for higher hp/survivability as well as a damage boost. Not to mention dragon glasses (attack glasses), attack belts, and certain other items. Pink bean, being released before everything mentioned, I would then have to assume it was not meant to be defeated, and if it weren't meant to be defeated, there's no reason to have a quest requiring its defeat.

So does this mean that the key to defeating PB is a healthy amount of Dual Blades and/or Enhancement Exploited items? :/

Yeah...pretty safe to say no one in our group used Enhance-hacked equipment. Furthermore, we only had 1 DB.

Lol, I'm sorry but you have no idea what a troll is. And no one would know if anyone used a Enhance hacked weapon it's quite obvious no one would admit it, it's easy to say it's something on one will ever know unless some one openly admits they used one, lol.

I think we know our group well enough and so does the rest of the server, we don't really need to explain to you or anyone else that we would not try to exploit a glitch like that to have an advantage in Pink Bean. If it makes you feel better to believe that then go right ahead. Our strongest member (bowmaster) can hit cap without your precious enhancement scrolls.

Damage range is nothing if you can't survive anyways. Not saying it's not important to have great DPS though but you won't be able to touch Pink Bean or Chaos HT if you aren't washed well enough, and a lot of the ranged players in the group have the HP. The entire group did an excellent job personally and together to make this happen.

Like RIPGobies said, this wasn't a random group. We're all friends and all know each other/have been running with each other for years. Many of us are adamant anti-hackers and the others that may not care as much still stay well within the bounderies of legitimacy. If this was a group randomly comprised of the strongest people in Windia that might have been the case but this is our own bossing group and we didn't grab and pick other individuals with shady backgrounds and good equipment to be tools for our success.

Considering how many times we've come close PRIOR to this run and the enhancement hack, us using that wouldn't do us much good in the first place. Considering how all the enhancements get smega'd, there haven't been nearly enough for our group to have been hacking to create weapons. And a couple in our group, myself included, post our ranges and equipment for comparison in forums regularly. So yeah, not exactly a hacker's M.O. F3. If we hacked, we wouldn't bother with videos and SS of the kill for people to scrutinize looking for loads of suspiciously high damage. There's nothing to hide. RIPGobies and Dark summed it all up well also. If our group hacked our way to defeat PB, I doubt any of us would be nearly as thrilled about killing it.
