I found it funny how everyone was complaining about there not going to be enough time to do the event and such, now people are complaining that there is too much time.

It also gives them time to test bugs in later stages as well as minimize work from the glitches in the early stages. A lot of advantages to this system, there is.

The badge says thats exactly what its for; the ship mount. The badge gives away what the quest keeps a secret. Hilarious.

Just found out that you just have to repeat the same 6 quests each day for 7 days. Boring quests are boring. Stage 1 is disappointing. I hope to god the others aren't, and getting the equips doesn't take like 30 hours.

It would have been better to split up the 7 tasks (the initial "Way Home" and the six missions) so as to have a different one every day. Could even make them 3 or 5 times as long (i.e., require 30 instead of 10 motherboards, etc) if they wanted people logged in for at least 10 minutes a day. The tasks would still be tedious but at least we'd get something new every day.

Look forward to stage 2 though, while you repeat the same quests/PQ each day you at least feel like you're working towards a goal. (Scrolling your visitor armor set)

I'm inclined to believe the latter is true. Holding an event that spans out over a month only to have players excluded from it for not being on within a specific 24 hours (not even) period is just plain stupid.
Completing the 7-day requirement probably is just to obtain the mount + makes more storyline/real-time sense.

Ew 15 day mounts... They know by now that we hate limited time items. Who wants to go to the effort to get a prize when in 2 weeks there will be no evidence you ever had it at all? Might be a little broken to let everyone have mounts for free but it's a lot better than the alternative of only having them available and useable for a really short period of time. Really I'm just tired of all these cool new mounts coming out but they're all temporary. Can we have some quests that actually let us obtain a permanent new mount? I'm especially annoyed with Evan's mount system, even though it makes sense. Losing the ability to use older mounts as you level up sucks. I'd like to be able to get an alternate mount to use in the meantime until i have 60mil to spare to get a new one again.

Just do all the quests once then you're good to go.

It doesn't. The extra reward at the end of stage 1, 2 and 3 are optional.

They just said you didn't have to. The 7 day thing is for a mount only, it's not needed to actually progress in the event.
