Anyone mind going into more detail about those meso bags?

We don't know how they work yet. They have 'meso', 'mesomax', 'mesomin', and 'stdev' fields. Presumable, the mean, min, max, and stdevation of the meso gained.

Maybe with those unique meso sacks, I could possibly get enough money to afford materials for the staff I could never manage to maker.

except with those same sacks, the prices would adjust for the influx of mesos, leading to the price being about the same or more depending how early on you decide to buy the mesos.

Phoenix Wrote:I don;t see a single diference beween regular ol' chaos and Miracle chaos.

I think they're just copy pasted a lot of things from KMS that isn't relevant to GMS content x_X

If I'm not mistaken, some of this stuff, including the Miracle Chaos are items that were sold by Inkwell, or that other NPC, I think it's Naomi, during the 7th anniversary event for 7th Anniversary coins.

This patch is pretty cool.
NX prices make me sad, but at least the packages come with free junk.

Two things looked interesting to me.

1. The boss treasure bags. Are those new to GMS or do they exist in KMS? Can anyone offer any insight?

2. The playing cards. Very peculiar.

1. As far as I know, no.

2. They, too, are apart of the 7th anniversary event. You have to trade 77 of them to Cassandra for some lame reward.

Is there any way to find out if we'll get the new drop rates on equipment or scrolls? Or will this be shoved in without notice just like the leeching formula?

Quote:Success rate: 40%
Cursed rate: 70%

Why does the curse rate say 70%? Shouldn't it be 60% or is it a typo on Nexon's part?

It looks like they reduced a lot of equips' NPC value, so I'm guessing yes, but if they don't NPCing equips is gonna get a lot less profitable.

Cysero Wrote:Why does the curse rate say 70%? Shouldn't it be 60% or is it a typo on Nexon's part?

Cursed Rate is the chance it'll blow up upon failing, so it has a 60% chance of failure, and a 70% chance of blowing up if it fails.

That's server sided so without an announcement from Nexon we'll just have to wait and see.

Some interesting clean slate scrolls.

Edit: O yeah forgot about if they decrease npc value it is a good indicator of change.

No, the curse rate and the success rate don't add together like that. if it's 40% success, that's 60% failure, and so 70% of the 60% failure it gets destroyed. Basically, 40% success, 18% failure, 42% destruction.

Just randomly checked the NPC price on a redemption, it NPCs for 28k now, as opposed to the pre-patch 250k.

Nearly 10x the reduced price of normal. The drop rate of equipment is supposed to be increased x10. Coincidence? I think not.

In KMS was it only equip drop rates that changed, or everything (scrolls, ores etc)?

This patch is a LOT to take in. So many things have been added.. x_x

Nice. I guess that is a hint we're getting the new drop rates.

2x scroll drop rate.

Anyone else think the boss treasure bags might simulate the fountain of drops after a boss dies?

So that's how it works, makes more sense now. Thanks for clearing it up.

Use item:

Golden Hammer
Adds an additional slot to an equip. Can only be used once.
