Angel Ray? Yeah. They did.

MP -25, Basic attack 240, Mastery 60%

to...

MP 46 소비, 620% 데미지

Assuming thats MP -46, 620% Damage.

Considering we have a brand new spanking formula that could be very weak or not much of an improvement what so ever.

It's not like giving Bishops a stronger 1v1 move will make up for Genesis Cool down.

Maybe if they made AR and Baha attack multiple targets, we won't get so fucked over. The new mana reflection might help a bit when training, but all the bishops that didn't add to it because it was useless, are screwed.

Well all of the Bishops other attacks were boosted. 3 hit Angel Ray would be nice. It'd be just like Fire Arrow. SR looks like it'll be great on mobs. I really want to see Mana Reflection in action...

Edit:Wait, Baha already hits multiple targets....

We're missing two very important factors to an MMORPG still...

1.) End Game Content - While the EXP formula has dramatically dropped, still getting to level 200 means nothing... cause there is nothing there.

2.) Security - Nexon's security flaws still makes me not trust this one bit. Why should anyone play a game where their work can be destroyed within minutes, randomly. Not to mention have the database compromised to where it can affect you greatly (ie, they have more information then they need for MS, and can target you even deeper, such as paypal).

upon changing the formulas, they better give an entire ap+sp reset for the high levels;
whether they do or not, I might just start from scratch and experience the changes from level 1 Smile

Heartily agree with this. MapleStory is moving in the direction of being a proper game with well thought-out mechanics, but the terrible customer service and security are still major obstacles they have to overcome before I consider playing again.

In this patch :

- Already strong classes got nerfed = rage = hate it
- Weak classes got buffed = happy = win
- Mages got nothing = absolutely fail.

Teleport mastery agro mobs, buff duration increased and ele reset. AMAZING.

Im talking about AMs only now,

First of all, LUK make mages weaker... The implementation of magic accuracy(which we already have but plays a minor role) might screw PURE INT mages. Thing is, even pure int mages now are losing to other classes.. I dont see how 160% mp and 130% (whats the skill called?) and making LUK compulsory will help in anyway. And by the looks of it, changing base attack to % base is the only thing they got... and does not seem significant at all to me.

Oh ffs we still have no clue how everything pans out. The classes are remodeled so none of the usual paradigms are around anymore. I swear even if the classes were perfectly balanced people would still find a reason to whine because of pre-conceived notions.

It really is getting old hearing everyone argue about who sucks more. You would think thats an argument you don't want to win

im actually borderline. its already making me want to come back to MS, but the whole warrior skill thing confuses me. if what this new update means is that you can see, for instance, a Crusader using a spear, PA, or BW, and still be able to use its crusader skills, i'll sh'it my pants sideways to mexico in a trolly, id be that excited by it.

All they did was take the warrior masteries for each job and put them together. Sword/Axe, Sword/BW, Spear/Polearm. All the warriors still use the same two weapons with their skills, but you only have to max one booster and one mastery now.

sh'it.
still not a bad change, but i was hopeful to see a paladin with fire+lightning charge on a spear and just owning. =/

in that case the update is great, makes me want to return, but ill agree with what Game's said a few posts above.

dam.... too bad i just finished maxing ninja storm -_- i wont even need it anymore if the 'no minimum range to throw' thing goes into effect.... Lol. Hopefully they just reset all ur SP and let u replace, otherwise it'll cost me several billion to reset all that, plus reset enough to get the new skills. Assuming the skill ideas are finalized.

What makes u think that they wouldnt reset SP after REMOVING SKILLS AND LOWERING MASTER LEVELS

ATM i'm at "what the f'uck". After seeing the nerfs corsair take... I'm waiting for the new critical formula. All corsairs took so far is a hit to 1v1, and probably not even a boost to mob attacks.
