im saying that when you take the poisonable restriction off monsters over a certain hp the numbers show blue. it's just a programming error. it's been tried off official ms.

So? What does that prove? Nothing. Nothing at all. So what you mean is that just because a GM said it one server alone means that it doesn't apply for any other server? C'mon, quit pulling crap from your ass.
And glitch abusers make it more obvious BECAUSE THERE WAS A BIIIIIIIIIG ASS LEVEL GAP. Like 3rd was 8x and 2nd was 11x and he was a Hermit.
If she sent out that warning to glitchers then it's a GLITCH meaning it wasn't intentionally put in the game.

well her warning was only to yellonde so how can bellocanians be held responsible for something we were never warned for (as your argument was that we were warned).

And as for the high HP monster deal, I have not heard of any "high HP" monster that can actually be affected by Poison/Shadow Web in the manner that you say it does. Don't even the highest level non-boss monsters have only like 100-200k HP at most?
I agree, OJ did it! I mean come on, look what he did in Vegas X_X
and i myself have never heard nor seen any high hp monster get healing colored numbers, and ive been around quite a few high lvl F/P mages, non of which have been lvl 100+ for barely a day >_>

I don't think people should be banned for abusing BigFoot killing, because of these reasons:
How do you tell a FP mage abused it or not? They might've just killed a few, finished their quest, and didn't touch it.
Other job chars have managed to kill it. Again, how would you tell the difference?
I like my idea of just rolling back the exp/levels to the day of Yellonde being out and CWK being released. Everything else would be the same/extended a week if on a expiration date and everyone who ISN'T a FP mage/Hermit would stop complaining about the mass level hike.
The one downside is all those 4x grinders will be pissed that they are back at square one after putting countless hours into training(the ones who didn't mass kill BigFoot).
BTW jase...could I get one of those toes in Khaini? XD

The internet is not America. Innocent until proven guilty need not apply. Playing MS is a not a right, it is a privilege that can be taken away from you at any time.
Though, I'm sure the GMs won't do jack pomegranate about it, so you can pretty much count on yourself getting away scott-free.

I'm sure they can check how fast people have leveled. If they've gained a large amount of levels within a certain time period then they've obviously glitched it.

.. there are some people who only gained say three levels off bigfoot. people like me who gained thirty shouldn't be scapegoated.

you should get part of the internet too :O from what i remember from a lil while back, i read somewhere that players who gain a certain amount of lvls within a single day automatically get tagged for hacking and are then put on the list for further investigation. That said, jase, you are on a hackers list

jasejase Wrote:well, i'm saying, there is no solid proof we set out to kill bigfoots. lots of people will suggest oj simpson is a murderer, but there was no solid proof so he was let off.
also, the healing damage thing applies to all high hp monsters that can be poisoned. it is not exclusive to bigfoot - it is an in game error that nexon has never fixed. it has nothing, and i repeat nothing, to do with whether or not bigfoots were intended to be poisoned or not. it was an error before bigfoots existed.
Well, if you have killed multiple bigfoots, then it is within reasonable suspician that once you saw it on one map, you knew it would spawn again on said map.

Dang, that sucks. I was wondering why I didn't see people selling them/MTSing them.
BigFoot being treated like a normal monster: Nexon has yet to say that it is an actual glitch. We are confident that this is the new boss, but it seems to spawn a LOT for a boss monster. I wonder if they did it just to make getting a toe a bit easier.
Yea, TiaraYellond said to stop abusing the glitch. But what glitch? She said nothing about BigFoot or anything, and could just be smegaing since they can't find the people who are mass leveling to be hacking or anything. Who knows. :/
Until Nexon says that BigFoot being treated like a normal monster is, indeed, a glitch, there is no proof that it is. Maybe they purposely did that. I wouldn't be surprised if Nexon did it on purpose or something. <_<
For now, let's just see if this server check will fix the problem; even if its a temporary fix or something. And, hopefully, they find some reasonable way to please the majority of the players as far as the level jumps went.

Alright.
Read what I said. I'll even put it in BIG RED TEXT.

If you STILL don't get it:
Let's say Bob, a level 80 F/P Mage walks to Bigfoot. Then levels 30 times in a day placing him at level 110. IN A DAY THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT IT BEING A GLITCH. Nexon would've REALLY messed up their game if it had been put in intentionally.
But they DO HAVE INTELLIGENCE and I highly doubt they'd do it intentionally.

actually, that is the best argument in my favour - thanks nojobnorules. i never even thought about that. if bigfoot is a boss that isn't meant to be poisoned .. what is the need for 152 bigfoot on one server? eh?

You can trade those foots in with Ridley Stones for items.
I wish I had even 1 BF so I can complete the quest..

well dont go hating on me for stealing toes. i am responsible for more people on bellocan getting toes than anyone else. i gave so many away to 8x people who can't even dream of killing bf.
and again, when the server check lifts, there will be 152 bigfoot walking around bellocan. does that sound like a boss to you?

I thought of it as a "lord monster" or something. As in, it is similar to a boss but not really a boss monster. An example, although poor, would be Iron Hog in the Pig Beach map. It is higher level'd and harder to kill for most of the people that train there, but it isn't a boss monster.
Of course, Iron Hogs have their own map to themselves.
I'm almost certain that Headless Horseman was only given a few extra maps to make getting a Jack O Lantern easier for the quest that requires it. Otherwise, it would only be 20 every 12 hours(I think thats the spawn time? Idk). That would make it quite hard to complete for the first few weeks, and even then...yea.
So yea. I really think the EXP just got whacked out and it was meant to be some spawn or something.
Besides, that New Boss could be the elusive Question Mark and we just have yet to find the map it spawns in.

Alright, that's enough of this. It isn't getting anywhere and the whole thread's purpose is for the OP to brag about his level gain.

this brings up a good point. With all these people going around abusing this glitch, and soaking up all the BF toes, there are less BF to be killed by others, meaning they are unable to complete their quests for pendants. And to counter the argument you will put after reading this, giving 63 (if thats even correct) of the toes to people is a small drop in the pond of people that would like to kill BF but have to deal with glitchers taking them all away.
