If it aint Krakia, it's dull and pointless.

With the current employees they have even if they do implement a Krakia odds are it will be dull and pointless anyhow because they clearly have no concept of what players actually want/need.

Joe.2 Wrote:Wouldn't it be "You have gained exp (100)", "Party bonus exp (90)"?

No. They add 80% to the party bonus. I am assuming it's 80% of the already existing bonus, not 80% of the base exp that the bonus is derived from. Hence, bonus of 18 instead of the usual 10.

(You might recall an event we had a while back, in which they advertised "double party exp bonus" or some such wording for a specific day of the week. Everyone thought it meant double exp as long as you're in a party, but it turned out to just double the bonus part.)

But, that's just my assumption. Asking for confirmation from people who played a version in which these rings already exist(ed).

K!yO Wrote:Still no word on 2x everyday? Lame.

Nexon Wrote:Maplers! We've heard you want 2x so we've made it where 2x will be on 24/7 for everyday in May! We've also made it where 2x cards from the Cash Shop and family 2x stacks with it!

2 weeks after the June patch after nothing has been changed.

Nexon Wrote:Maplers! We've heard how much you've liked everyday 2x so we decided to make 2x exp the new base exp! But don't worry, we'll still have 2x events, and when we do you'll have auto 4x! And when you stack it with card 2x or family 2x you can get up to 16x! We hope you enjoy us making your level experience easier!

Kalovale Wrote:Do you have confirmation on the criteria for acquiring the ring (in MSEA at least)? If inactivity guarantees a 100% chance of getting, that's sweet.

i got several chars in msea that has the exp welcome back ring (probably cuz i dont login msea much since i quit there). im pretty sure the ring mule doesnt have to leech for the entire party to get +80% exp. thats why people sell "ringer service" similar to leech service in msea [the mules are all low lvl] ;]

On a side note for fun, there are now party exp bonus coupons in msea now ;X I forsee the increase spawn-rate coupon coming out in the future too ;x

I just realized. Up to 2 days constant 2x on anniversary, with welcome back ring = 7.2x exp. O.o

Not even close. I'm inclined to believe it'll work more like Orit said

Believe what you will. Welcome back rings affect actual exp in other versions, so that's what i'm going to stick with.

well this is how my welcome back ring looked in msea when i logged a while ago:

yes, it affects the entire exp, not just party exp. the ring mule doesnt even need to be leeching to get +80% exp to the party. so if GMS copypastes this ring data, then we will be getting the same one ;] hope this clears some confusion.

Really, what good is that ring without some high level spots? Yay I can get bored to death at Oblivion 4 doing the last 18 levels on monsters that was kind of bad 30 levels ago, because now I get more exp doing it!
