Destroying Your Wedding Ring

i was thinking that too, im wondering:
edit: you would need to have 0 slots on your ring though, otherwise a hacker could delete your ring by using darkscrolls, even if you have an item seal

Couldn't they still try to destroy a 0 slot ring with Clean Slates? (Not that it'd be an effective way to do so, that is, and that's assuming that there's at least 1 failed slot that can be retrieved with such.)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't both characters need to unequip their rings for them to be divorced? (As in the 2 married characters)

My FP was divorced long ago without the other person telling me, and I always had it equipped. All someone needs to get an anullment is

- One of the married characters talks to Mooney
- You pay a fine (Or not, I forget)
- You are now unmarried

You don't have to involve the other character in any way.

Only thing that does happen is a guy character can't make a new ring for 1 week (and thus can't get married), while a girl character has no such restriction, and can get married 5 seconds after.

thats not the issue though, the key question is if you can get divorced while having your wedding ring sealed and/or destoryed.

and about the cleanslate part, yes thats true, but if you hammer your wedding ring you cant clean slate anymore right (this is a glitch aswell, can anyone confirm?). so using all 5 slots would be enough always in theory

A guildmate of mine actually tested sealing rings, but it didn't stop the divorce from going through.

The effect was slightly delayed though, the ring didn't expire till he went into the CS and came out. Not sure if that was because of the seal, or if that always happens.

Is there any way to get a wedding ring back (besides remarrying) if you break it? I'm tempted to scroll my ring, so just wondering.

Me and my wife tried scrolling our rings with 70%s. Mine for INT, hers for DEX.

Mine passed, hers broke. We still have the heart effects on our window, but the wedding ring effect disappeared (we just bought venus fireworks, not getting remarried, plus it looks prettier). We can both still do APQ.

There seems to be no way to recover her wedding ring, however, since this was just introduced, and 70% accessory scrolls are alien to a version that has weddings, I think Nexon could do something about it in the future if people complain. But most likely they won't, since it's more money for them if people just get remarried. But I'm not sure if you can still divorce with only 1 wedding ring, I guess you can.
