"Acura Cheap" FM Shops

The items for sale in "Acura Cheap" shops aren't exactly the best items out there. They could be anyone's shit. I could be lying about where they're from or the shops might not belong to a hacker. Plus, I'm not going to hesitate to buy crap like 10 Atk WGs for 50m (example), or any sort of common cheap crap like that. As for your opinion- I could care less- not my problem people are getting hacked.

If you have access to a permit and you have enough to buy something cheap that's easily resellable, you would be stupid not to buy it. Buying items for mesos, an in-game currency, is not against the TOS or rules or anything. Is it wrong morally? Is some maple saint going to buy them and return the items to their rightful owner? No! 99.99% of the items will be purchased by a merchant and resold for profit.

For someone who constantly whines about being treated like crap (someone stealing your FM spots) you're a pretty big jerk. Seems like you deserve all of that, suddenly.

Guaranteed that if you lost your stuff and one of your best friends bought it because it was cheap and refused to give it back or sold it to you for a massive profit you'd have a hissy fit.

Personal profit should never come before doing the right thing, even if it means a potential loss for you.

LOL, I got my stuff stolen and purchased by a friend. I didn't care so I just paid a good price for the item back :p

P.S. I would probably sell the item back for the price I paid if it was MY BEST FRIEND. ONLY IF it was my best friend's. Others, I don't give a craps. I.e. randoms.

I agree with this. Yes it does suck to lose everything you have but still a merchant's desire for meso is greater than any morals a person will have in an online game... I've certainly lost billions of meso from merchanting mistakes, giving equips away, and funding hacked friends before myself but I get over the losses quickly. Takes work to remake whatever you lost.

Nope, this isn't it for me. The accounts I use to merchant on were fine. The one the hackers got had a bunch of people who sat next to Huckle waiting for him to give them more rock scrolls (they probably hadn't been to the FM in over a year).

Then why bother merchanting at all. For all you know, the next thing you buy in FM could belong to somebody who's account got hacked.

Wouldn't the model and moral thing to do be to not FM at all? Since it's clearly a crime for you to buy items that don't actually belong to the seller, why risk it and tarnish your reputation?

I rarely buy items in FM unless i know when to buy certain items. And also a big difference lies between knowing if those items you bought are hacked and not knowing. Its easy to tell the diff between a hacker store and from a regular JOE's selling in FM's. Also Merchant has two type one who abide by the law & respect other AND then one who don't give a rat azz for where those items are coming from for personal gain.

And lol @ Law & Respect. Like I said, this is an Online Game, not irl... you expect too much from a game like Maple. Imagine a hacker stole somebody's 15 att PAC, smegas that he's going to sell it and opens his mushie. He's selling it for 1 meso. I bet you the very first person to enter that store will purchase it. If he somehow duped it 100 times, I bet you the next 99 people will also buy it instantly. What morals?
