MapleSEA got the training centre and new maple island in the aran patch.

Maple island is extremely buggy for now. The quests arent updated(idk if it is updated in kms) and signs show wrong map names. The world map of maple island also failed epically...

Interestingly...just now eMS hit the (I believe) highest exp rate seen at a normal server....3x cards + fam 2x + 0.8x from welcome back ring. The 3x was given to everyone and lasted a week (ended yesterday), and the welcome back ring is here for the second time, lasting the normal 3 months, given to accounts inactive since, at least, September 1st. Personally I got 2 "Ring Mules" as we call them.

How eMS's "special" treatment works:
The hog:

1. Talk with Kenta, protect the hog, get saddle + the riding skill.
2. Talk with Han the Broker in Magatia, pay 20 mil, get hog.

Advantages:
No need to catch the hog. Quickly done.
Disadvantages:
Unable to re-obtain the Saddle, less quests to complete.

KoC's:

Pirate NPC's are placed around Henesys for now, Natulis Pigmy (Gatchapon) moved to Lith Harbour.

Ariant:

On other notes, you should know that eMS has racked up rates.

We have Family exp, Cash Shop cards, Welcome Back Rings (1.8x exp for the whole party if one member has it on, does not require the member to leech, refer to above post for more info.), HS, and recently everyone had gotten a 3x (!) exp card for one week (24 * 7 hours of working).
Counting up that we have Anego and Onyx Apples the lv 200 with 3rd job isn't that special.

And we also had 4th job Skillbooks drop when gPQ was released the first time. (We only had Papulatus as a "Big Boss" back than, as well only Ludi Dungeon for training, so you can see which skillbooks we could obtain.)

Oh, our highest level was around lv 133 when 3rd job was released btw, isn't Nexon Europe lovely?

Also, Now i see that EMS doesn't care to check if their updates make sense.
Basically, the quest for mounts is just: Talk to Kenta, head to Magatia, give the Cloth seller 20 million mesos and he'll give you a hog.
Why the hell a cloth seller would have hogs for sale that players can buy?

Well, since in the maple world you're technically the only character that matters, he only needs to have one. I doubt it would be that uncommon for someone to have a pet pig, just as it isn't in real life.

I play EMS myself – and you're all right. NexonEU is failing atm - I mean "LEVIATHAN WITHOUT LEAFRE!" Wonder where he is... I was confused when there was a taxi in Ariant instead of a Camel. At least there's a Vic->Nihal shortcut here ^^;

When we got KoC in August, I was confused where everyone got the pirate armour from. And where were they? Henesys - followed by some other NPC called Serryl, I'd be laughing if the nibs got confused about the Pirate Equip NPCs in Henesys then the next thing they'll know they will not be there.

N.EU is also lazy enough NOT to fix the "Insert text here"c"" glitch. As in NPC Roca saying "Hahahac..." :f6: What's next? Crimsonwood PQ without Crimsonwood? LOLOL.

I feel bad for EMS keeping the lolGMS names.

What was wrong with the GMS names? The original ones didn't make any sense, since they had nothing to do with pirates, and more to do with the various aspects of the sub-job. Like an infighter is a boxing style, which really doesn't sound very pirate like (Mike Tyson and Joe Frazier are pirates?), whereas pirates were known for getting into brawls, hence brawler.

I think it would have been better if the whole pirate theme was dropped overall for the 5th class, especially for the brawler/infighter, since they really function more like a Monk anyway.

since when name need to make any sense in maple. hermit use throwing star? lolwut?

No, the original pirate names are retarded, valkyrie is so far off from a pirate that it makes even less sense than hermit. GMS got it down much better, but I always felt marauder should be 4th job and buccaneer 3rd.

As for the ring, yes a bit of rage.
