Well technically it's a part of the Cygnus event. Find traces of the Black mage and all that you know. Point is still valid though, it will go away with all the other event stuff.

If I remember correctly, the level 120 cygnus mount was added in the same kMST patch as the first version of cpq2 along with the powerguard/whatnot changes, so the 120 cygnus quest being copypasted over is a good possibility.

Cygnus 120 quests have been in since the first day. The problem in GMS is that there is a map between Manon Forest and Griffey Forest with a crucial NPC that is currently missing, thus the quest cannot progress.

They went on a run three days ago but I hear someone made a very affective error that cost them the run. I believe they got far, but don't know full details.
