the "new" PG formula?

For Bigfoot? Yes. Accuracy PG/Corkscrew mules will probably be the way to go until we get the new EXP distribution, which will cause the whole thing to go down the tubes.

If they did this, they wouldn't really be able to hit the monster still due to the lvl difference, not to mention the fact that it would mean them not putting points into hp, reducing what monsters they can truly pg leech at. Either way though whenever we get the kms party exp change and the pg acc formula, everything will change for the better.

I dont think so, I think that new formula is a curse. Sure I hate leechers, but I also think it destorys party training. No one attacks each others' mobs in maple, so its pointless to have the exp distribution based off of how much damage you deal to a mob, since most people wont be attacking each others' mobs.

Except on bosses. But not that people goes bossing to lvl anyway.

And Female Boss.
And people who do Papulatus or Zakum for exp. (I did this for a while at 13x.)

You prefer going to Zakum instead of grinding on TT/Newts/Skeles? This is news to me.

If this goes to GMS, my friend is gonna be so sad. He is buying BF leech because he got bored with training at MP3. Also, because he needs to slow down his leveling. Lol.

Bigfoot isn't really a boss so much as a rock certain classes beat up for exp. Typically you only have one person attacking it and a team of mules/leechers following them around. Pretty fucking lame in my opinion.

Damn right I prefer it. Thirty minutes of fun at a Boss run versus however-long-I-must-suffer of Genesis at Skelos. The only time I do "traditional training" is when I'm helping someone level.

My Night Lord and DK have both gained significant exp off of Zakum... Tongue don't knock it (also my 50 Fighter, but that was kinda leechy - when he's in def-up, all attacks do 1 damage. Even if they couldn't hit him when he's not casting it. So you can hit him regardless of acc 8) )

Looks like some people might be going back to Bonefish leeching. Tough, but still decent exp.

Having a high leveled character already is a horrible arguement for leeching. If not having to train another character after already having one high level, when you get to a high level you would instantly get one of every character. But since that doesn't happen, it means you need to train another character to get to play it.

Good point, but as much as I look down on leeching, I must still say someone that managed to get himself high enough without sucking ultimate-users all the way should get some slack. Then again the ones that leech themselves do that from bishops, and since bishops are the Maple equivallent of other games easy mode, maybe slacking rights are not earned?

PG leeching though, that's a horrible abomination to begin with and should not even be possible. Bigfoot should use a special attack on low lvl characters with PG that kicks them out from the Phantom forest as well as giving the real life user an electric shock.

Don't worry leaching will still exist, it will just be implimented slightly differently.

1) Make lvl 31 PG mule dumping all extra points into dex, then wear a bunch of acc equips and use a good acc pot.

2) Use nib bowman (max both Blessing & Focus for this build - no str use a nib bow or maple bow) to hit BF for at least one damage, then kill the bowman so max exp goes to leachers. Perhaps a few acc equips will be required, but not nearly as many.

*makes plans to capilitize on all the new desired equipment & sell maple pops for 10-50m ea*

It'll still be less EXP than before. Training will actually be faster now when you factor in how much time is wasted just looking for said boss as well as the time it takes to get there.

*And where the heck do you get Maple Pops? I thought those things no longer drop.

Or DO THEY?

I meant from the standpoint of the PG formula I guess. PG only returns 20% of the damage and you take 80% from bosses, as opposed to 40% and 60%, respectively.

Oh god people actually did that? I went to Bonefish with two friends (Priest and DK) on my old Cleric and accidentally leeched one because it Magic Canceled. I ended up leeching about 11% for lulz, then dying. xd

you do realize you need upwards of over 500 accuracy to hit BF at lvl 31?

31 lvls x 5 ap/lvl = 155 +4 base dex = 159

but wait u need 35 strength to advance as a warrior so not counting the 4 base you subtract 31 from 159 = 128

128 * 0.8 = 102.4 accuracy. meaning you'll need over 400 accuracy from gears and pots....good luck.

It's a lil more involved than that.

your second nib bowman one is more plausible but still unlikely unless you close the gap a lil more. I'd say around mid lvl 40s with major accuracy gear or for sure at 50 with a zhelm.
