FelixTM Wrote:I opened it in Excel 2000 for you:Okay, cool, it works just fine there. Too bad the sizes of some stuff (I think the default text size/font is bigger in Excel) makes everything look pretty scrunched. I sent Dusk a test version to see if I can get it working for Vista. As soon as he replies, I can put it up, assuming it works.
Yeah, I believe Excel went from Arial to Calibri with '07 and Calibri is smaller at the same font size.
edit: checked, it was from Arial 10 to Calibri 11. Maybe manually setting everything to non-default font ould fix it, iono.

As far as I know, it's impossible to load my calculator in any of the Vista Excels because of this
![]() Seems they don't like OpenOffice much, even when I tried to save it in .xml format. Bastards. Anyway, unless anyone knows anything I can do about it, I have no choice but to tell the Vista people that they have to download OpenOffice. But really... it's free.

I opened it in Excel 97, saved it, opened fine in Excel 2007. The file size is also about 40% smaller so I'm not sure what '97 did to it. I don't know how to check if everything still works so I'll just link to it -> http://www.jonbuder.com/Stereo/Corsair%2...1.41_s.xls
MS office formats are hilariously bad though so maybe it just removed stuff OOo didn't know was unnecessary. If I stick it in a rar it's only 20KB but that's kinda excessive.

Your version appears to work just fine, so I'll link to it in my main post. Thanks much!

Very nice calc, it works great ^^
1 thing I noticed though, is that ticking bullseye doesn't increase the damage for Octo even though it should. Bullseye doesn't make the octo's focus on 1 monster only, but it does increase their damage if they hit the bullseye'd monster.

Daddy20 Wrote:LOL yeah i just found out as well... xD I was messing around with it and noticed it was doing more with bullseye.Woah, seriously? I'm gonna test this now. EDIT: Holy crap it does. If you want me to update it in the public calc, tell me. For now I'm just going to update it in my private one.

Bullseye increases all damage you do to that monster. Torpedo, Gaviota, Air Strike included.

Nice nice, i would like this, it might weigh me to go Master Octo before finishing off Air strike(21 atm) cause i like to Zak a lot and could summon them during def ups, which i should be doing anyways cause Corsairs are so pro and Heros are starting to lack i find @ zak so ive been clearing the top mobs
but its nice when i see a 80+K Torp attack pop up right in the middle of the screen and everyones liek @_@ .... hmmmmm what would it take for a Corsair to pop a 100K Crit with Torp on a Zakum summon(not Bullseyed) would it be 920% damage on torp with SE would be ~ 10869 max range (excluding Def) is this right? ... hmm i migth need to go find a Gelt and test this out

Torp is 780%, crit is +140%. Bullseye would take that 920% and make it 1080%. 10.8x = 100000 x = 100000/10.8 x = 9259.25 So after accounting for defense, you'd need a range of about 9760 for 100k to be possible at all, but you'd probably want it to be at least 10k so you could actually see it more than .000001% of the time.

Devil's Sunrise Wrote:Weapon defence would lower that. well i mathematasized it to be 10869 earlier, so i added a few hundred to that, even tho summons have a significantly lower ammount of def than Zakum itself, so i was just playing it safe by adding like 300 more on it, or would i require even more and i just undershot it

why does the excell 2001 + one go to a page that says this...
Note: This is an error message, not the page you were looking for. Unless you were looking for the error page, in which case this is the page which you were looking for. Four Oh Four BAD i feel so decieved cause that is the only one that would work here @ work and it doesn't also....B> THIS THREAD STICKIED, hate having to search for it everytime i gotta wipe my comp and start over which is far too often/ look for it @ a friends house its a VERY useful calculator and is the only thing any Corsair would ever need ^_^ since it incorporates everything into it, equips where youc an list each individual item and it's stats to see what would be a better upgrade for you which REALLY helpped me out here when deciding which to upgrade next (also helpped me spy on what equips you have / had @ level 168 now i know what i need to gather to compair to ya a bit since you seem to be the only other active corsair over 170 ive seen besides myself who posts here
