Vernacular Wrote:Noooooooooooooo lol. I was just simply saying that a guy in a southern jock infested place obsessed with everything cutesy would be highly suspected of being gay, but apparently people can't pick up on that.

And the artist is Sanrio. lol
The character is Tenorikuma.
Cool

Maybe it's because open gays are so rare where you are that they just don't know much of the stereotypes...which is pretty scary, that they hate/fear/persecute people they know nothing about.

Maybe, that would be a bit to backward for this place though.

Do you know any gays that fit into the "fruity gay stereotype".
You know, with the lisp and all.

All the gay people I've known were completely normal. lol

I know one, but he isn't super duper like that.
He goes. "OH MAH GAWD JACKIEEEE HE IS SO FINEE."
-Jackie is a girl I sit near in 3rd period, he comes in during enrichment which is free period after 3rd but you have to stay in 3rd period room unless told to go to some activity. . . weird I know-
But yea he is about the only one I know that acts kind of like that, and I only see him on Tuesdays and Fridays so.

this saturday i went for dinner with some friends from school (when i was like, 13) and one was now gay. He was pretty open to his gayness, he would talk fruitily, etc. But he did respect the other people's sexual preference and wasn't jumping over me or anything =D

<-- not a homophobe

Are you more likely to go for the only gay people available, or do you usually wait until a sexy hunk comes along?

Depends, at this point I'd take what I could get. Which is just about nothing.
In most situations I'd wait for the hunk, I've already got premeditated plans for coming onto the foot ball player.
I just knowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww he'll eventually do anything to get off. Wink

I just had a music class on how the Backstreet Boys were subliminally marketed to a gay audience (I'm serious). Your thoughts?

No I haven't sorry. :/
I might torrent it. Big Grin

Lol if they are gay I wouldn't be surprised,
but I bet they went that route to get a female audience.
I have no idea what I'm talking about, but what ever. xD
It is kind of an honor I guess, using homosexuals to make a monopoly.

I've only seen the commercials. Maybe I'll download + watch it tonight. Even if I had desperately wanted to see it, I wouldn't have. My dad is an extremely anti-gay person (suck2bme) and hates me enough already, and I haven't come out to him yet. Imagine the whipping I'd get if I come back from the movies with a ticket that says MILK on it.

Why does my friend (** one only) like to call me gay?

I don't like sports, so what? I have openly said that I liked a girl in my class. And to him personally.

He still likes to tease me. What to do? Sigh.

There's a movie called ''But I'm a cheerleader''. It's about a group of girls and boys that are sent to a camp where they are kinda forced to become straight. I won't spoil the ending. IT IS AWESOME.
