A lot of the higher level buff pots (like the 4000 max HP and +60 stat pots) cannot stack with the other higher level buff pots. The description of the potions says that only one of those potions can be used at a time. I would assume that the effects of these potions stack with party skills and the like, but getting the materials and recipes to make the potions in the first place is pretty hard. It's easy to get the level 1-4 ores and herbs since there's a 10 minute once a day area in Ardentville where you can farm a huge supply of these, but the rest are strewn about all over the Maple world.

Magic Powders in particular are hard to find too. You can only get them by failing to convert a seed into oil for alchemy, which only happens at a 10% rate.

They won't be droppable from monsters in Chaos? Nuts. Also, is Ardentville a public map area? Trying to make sure if it's possible to farm ores and herbs in peace.

It's public. Do your once-a-day ore farming at night or something. Avoid channel 1 like the plauge because it's a very small area and you know there's going to be a ton of adbots there since it's accessible from any town.

lol, its a lot simpler than that
accept the quest to be warped to mushroom castle while transformed, then use a town scroll to get to a town of your choice.
fun fact, the flight thing is specific to the flying maps.

Late reaction, but what tactic did you use to get your closeness so high? (especially: higher then the level bar)

Pounding Hearts :o They're basically like 10 free, quick closeness. I feed it etcs when I'm raising the closeness, since etcs don't fill it up quite as fast (therefore, more closeness faster)

Speaking of PvP, and remembering the alternate training location thread elsewheres in the forum, how's the EXP in PvP. I'm sure a calculations exists somewhere since I've seen it, but I can't remember where. Details I'd like include general EXP information among the three different PvP types and the four levels and the time per round. Any insights any of you have in the EXP gained as a mage, as well as any other class is also appreciated. Takebacker has already given me a colorful description of mages' abilities, so I've got a good foothold there, note: gypsies and whores were included. Also, is PvP accessible everywhere through the Mirror or is there a designated locale to get there?

There's a special NPC in every town that takes you to the PvP area. You'll know him when you see him.

[SIZE="1"]If I remember correctly, there's a quest chain that asks you to investigate the Stronghold Entrance and the Garden. At the end of it it asks for you to get Stones from "Cygnus Summon" mobs. Once you have Soul, Flame, Wind, Night, and Thunder ETC stones, click on the Thunder Stone in Use to forge the key. You can only get one key per day.

It's a 17x quest (might be 16x but pretty sure 17x), also part of it asks you to kill those mobs at Stronghold Entrance and get some ETC thingy..[/SIZE]
