My friend introduced me to Shingeki no Kyojin (attack on titan). I read the manga, it's awesome.
Expecting the anime to be similarly awesome.

Didn't really do anything so far today but I saw Wreck-It Ralph yesterday and it was amazing. I'm annoyed with me that I went so long without seeing it :<

Just talked to my neighbor again. It seems I'll be working for him "under the table"? doing computational/computer/programming work
But here's the best part: depending on how much/what kind/how well I do the work he gives me, I might even be put on the paper as an author.
An author on a scientific paper about O16 trends in nuclear reactions before my sophomore year? @_______________________________@ omgggg

Around this time last year I was wearing size 38 pants pretty snugly. While going through my pants, I noticed the old size 36s I have are getting to be loose as well. Might have to drop down to a size 34 by the end of summer and I couldn't be happier!

Made my dad watch Doctor Who today. It happened to be on when I turned on the TV and we watched the last three or four Tennant episodes, then the first Smith episode, then just to confuse him, went back and started at the first Eccleston episode.

Started sifting through more stuff as the moving out process goes into full swing. I found my gameboy color again...and I long those days when pokemon red's eternal battery was still good.
...Also apparently Yugioh cards that are worth 50 bucks. Well, looks like I got pocket money this summer.

Playing Starcraft II again. I've won 6 games in a row now. Advancement to Platinum seems imminent. This is almost... too easy. My opponents play really bad.

That's because your opponents are likely Americans. Americans are garbage at Starcraft.

This past week, court hearings were conducted of key IRS figures following the target of the agency to close down on conservative groups for tax exemptions. President Obama claimed ignorance of the events until he was brought attention of the event by news organizations. The reaction seems to be a throw back when ATF operation 'Fast and Furious' was exposed with President Obama claiming that the program had originated with the previous administration. Looking deeper into the workings of the federal agency, IRS Shulman former commissioner of the department claimed, "What I knew was not the full set of facts in this report. What I knew sometime in the spring of 2012 was that there was a list [that] was being used, knew that the word 'tea party' was on the list, didn't know what other words were on the list, didn't know the scope and severity of this, didn't know if groups that were pulled in were groups that would have been pulled in anyway." It appears that the statements offered by the person closest to the issue, Lois Lerner, it fraught with inconsistencies. Although I haven't seen footage from the statement firsthand, apparently Lerner stated that she too only became aware of the situation when there was media coverage of the issue. Lerner claimed no involvement in the issue, citing that a group in Cincinnati was to blame. However, a rejection format questionaire submitted to conservative groups bore her signature, resulting in her previous non-involvement claim to be highly suspect. Of central interest is Lerner's employment of the Fifth to not proceed with self-incrimination.
A Jon Stewart segment breached the consistent theme that when problems strike, it appears that no one knows what is going on. The lack of accountability in upper management sets a horrible precedent for accountability in any management. Owning up to mistakes appears to be a sucker's game left to those in the lower rungs. The truth doesn't simply matter due to an appealing moral sense of responsibility. It's the truth that appropriate reparations cannot be given if damages aren't detailed by those who created those problems in the first place. This isn't a motif solely attributed to politics, but was also a common motif in the senate hearings for the London Whale incident in which Ina Drew cited mistakes to be attributed to Martin Artajo providing intentionally misleading information as well as a faulty VAR report. The key source missing from the Senate report is a testimony from Martin Artajo on the hsgac website. What we do know that there was a 'settlement' between JP Morgan and Martin Artajo with no court scripts readily available or second-hand transcript from reporters. It's ironic that we live in an age where information is plentiful and several sites are dedicated towards reporting on the news. However, when it comes to facts and truths that are exposed on failure, we find that collusion and money go a long way to hide mistakes for not only Americans, but the world at large that remains tied to our socio-political shenanigans.
The president nor the democratic party should be the focus of conservatives to rejoice. Both Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have been more than open to note the irony of speakers like Rumsfeld and Cheney placing criticism and blame on the president for 'Hurricane Scandy'. Notably their promotion of the invasion of Iraq even though they were well aware that their pretense which was the country's possession of WMDs was completely false. The fact that the presence of such untruths remains such a pervasive and persuasive element in moving our country shows us that for an age where information comes to us with unprecedented pace, the information that we are given lacks appropriate scrutiny.

Been feeling consistently ill for a long time now. Getting a little worried. I'm going to see my neurologist soon, because I have been without a neurologist and still remained on meds for a year for some stupid reason. Geez I wish the US had single payer healthcare. >_>

Are you still taking fluoxetine? Or is this with respect to another medication.

Is this related to what happened last August? Also what do you mean by 'single payer healthcare?'

Probably not. Whatever happened last August was remedied by IV fluids and bedrest, so my physician thought it was dehydration/heat exhaustion.
By single payer I meant government run healthcare like in Canada. That would be easier to work with given my current situation.
