@blade: I use strafe, arrow eruption, pierce, and snipe (for bot-catching monsters, don't have to weaken them ). I only use family 2x drop when I'm hunting a rare card. I've killed about 600 scholar ghosts and snow witches, but I got realllly lucky with security camera, only about 50. About 100 Rurumos. I kept the etc's to keep track and most don't drop their etc 100%, even on 2x/4x. I think I'm mostly lucky, but I have a special theory on how and when the cards will drop, but no one believes me

If it makes you feel better, I hate you too =) No, seriously. I found out that you didn't use 2x drop for your stuff (most of the time), and you get cards way faster than I do x_X

Well, for the last two weeks we've both been using it quite religiously.

Yep. I'm a cheater.

Yeah we've been getting 1 4 hour card a day or so for the duration of the sale (I usually use the first part of it on Shade). These last 3 or 4 days I've been using it all to hunt stupid Dual Beetle but it hasn't done much good lol.

I would probably get it when hunting the magatia bot catching monsters, but I don't want to waste it and the last thing I want at 6 AM is to be coerced into hunting for 4 hours. :p
(and just to clear up any confusion about the previous post, I'm just jealous because he always seems to find the card I hunted and didn't get. XD)

Well another reason no one believed me was because it was hard to explain, but I'll try. I usually find a map with heavy spawn that I can one-hit, and go around AEing the map. After killing for 10~15 minutes WITHOUT getting a card, I kill the monster that spawns less. My theory is that all cards will drop within a certain number of kills after a previous card dropped, and the more I can kill without a card dropping, the more of a chance it is for the rarer card to drop. Again, this usually works, but not always. This has only seemed to work when I was on 2x drop. I tried doing this theory on 1x drop (but killing the heavy spawn map for longer [about 20~30 minutes]), but it doesn't seem to work. It probably wont work for everyone, but maybe it will work for someone so they can back up my theory.

It's kind of overlapping my theory (which probably everyone ran into theirselves) that monsters with less spawns have more chances of dropping their cards.

anyone else experiencing monster book cards getting moved around? number wise? i had 5 skeles of each and my boss cards are all outta place

everyone who picked up a TT or Elin card has had this happen to them unfortunately. Every monster after the one you got will be affected in some way unfortunately :/

Yes it drops, Primitive Boar was the card that initially messed up my book.

so I better not go elin?
lol since patch i didnt even go to tour it

Apparently, TT and Elin doesnt seem to mess up our books. maybe its because they are in the same patch.
