That would require them to actually make more wii us rather than just slap some decals on the piles of gamepads which they have sitting in storage.

- Triforce quest – the five Triforce pieces can now be grabbed directly (In the chests which originally had triforce charts)
- Only the remaining three require translated charts instead of eight
- Hero Mode available from the start
- Picto Box has been upgraded
- Upgraded camera could still be used to snap photos of unsuspecting villagers or enemies
- Pictures can go up on Miiverse
- Link can also take funny self-photographs
- Switch between happy, sad, and surprised emotions
- Get the Swift Sail at the auction house after completion of the first dungeon (Swift sail causes wind to always be in the direction you're facing! You can still use the old sail/wind waker, but why would you want to?)
- No alert via an in-game prompt to signal the special sails availability
- No longer possible to accidentally skip Tingle’s island, as the developers have inserted an introduction to the quirky character into the main quest
- Enhanced first-person camera
- Can now have full movement in that perspective
- Can travel through hallways and shoot arrows like you’re in a FPS

Wonder how many of the glitches they will have fixed in the HD version.

If they wanted even a chance of saving the Wii U, they needed it to be $250 for the deluxe and swap the disc copy of nintendoland for a download code, and a second game, say , Wind Waker.

I don't understand why you don't get the figure with the console as well… Also it's unsurprisingly a download code and not a physical copy of the game… It doesn't seem much of a special bundle. You would probably be better off buying them separately. Especially if the figure is appealing to you.

They have been banging on so much lately that the price isn't a problem then like a week or two later they cut the price.

i was gonna get the wind waker bundle but now i know the game is a digital download copy i feel like i might just get a black wii u and the figure boxed copy.

Pressing the R or L Buttons on the Wii U GamePad will skip video playback forward/back a small amount of time
Holding the R Button will speed up video playback
Ability to save username and passwords for websites that require login²
Ability to launch the Internet Browser during gameplay and upload screenshots
Added support for viewing PDF files³
Added features intended for website developers that allow the user to enable developer tools and set user agent

Improvements to system stability and usability:

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience



¹ Wii software displayed on the Wii U GamePad cannot be controlled by the GamePad. This feature only allows Wii software to be displayed on the GamePad. A Wii Remote Plus or Wii Remote is required to play Wii software titles.

² Users can delete saved usernames and passwords from the Internet Browser settings.

³ Sometimes data may not be displayed correctly depending on the size and format of the PDF file. PDF files cannot be saved.

It's a real shame you can't control games that have classic controller support directly with the gamepad.

so because im a cheap ass i decided to get the wind waker bundle in the end, which came today.

took me like 6 hours of messing around with the wireless to download the system update and the game but i did it in the end thank pineapple.

Still, I'm not buying wind waker (At least, not yet) because I don't think paying £40 for a remake is sensible when I bought the original for £35 (and the original came with a free copy of OoT and Master quest too)

Nope, the bundle is basically the black console with the decal on the gamepad and a sheet of paper with a code on for the game lol. It ended up being like £40 cheaper then buying the console and a boxed copy seperate.

Wind Waker HD looks awesome. Was playing through it, and man oh man, it's awesome for an HD re-release. One of my favorite GameCube games from my late childhood to early teenage years is now one of my favorite Wii U games.

I was going to buy WWHD earlier since Target jumped the gun, but was unable to buy it until Oct. 4th.

Sonic Lost world is out in europe. Getting mediocre reviews, and I'm not sure why.

Played through the first 4 zones (one world) and it seems pretty good so far to me. It's definitely different to Generations/Colours though. In fact, I'm uploading my (blind) playthrough on youtube.

Will do the other areas when I get around to it. Hopefully finish the whole game by this weekend or next. Spoilers, obviously.

kinda like seeing the lost world reviews since the previews all seemed more positive about it.

I have that and Pikmin on my shelf to play but i got a vita recently and im obsessed with Persona4G lol. (also Guided Fate Paradox shipped today) dear god the backlogggg

It's not as good as colours/generations and there are definitely some very cheap deaths. But normally that would mean it is, at the very least a solid 7/10 just because everything works like it's supposed to. I'm not sure why the reviews are so harsh.

Edit: No, you know what, I'd say it's at least as good as generations (console version). Maybe not the pc version, because that fixed a few hiccups the ps3/360 version had to do with frame rate and other minor annoyances.

Still think that I prefer colours though. (Also uploading videos for up to halfway through world 3 to my youtube channel at the moment).
