We haven't been practicing at all really, but we spent about an hour going at it today and this was our best attempt out of the bunch.
At like the 7:30 mark he did that thing where he doesn't pop back up and no matter what we did he still wouldn't pop back up.

Happened to us twice today as well. The only way we can get him to come back out is if everyone but one person leaves the map.
It's really frustrating.. we have no idea what causes it and there doesn't seem to be a solution.

I was told that if all the people on the map go to the opposite side of the map it pops back up, but I can't confirm it first hand.

This has not worked the ~10 times we've tried it.
We've also tried everyone in one corner, one person goes to other side; everyone in middle, etc. Nothing has worked.

I was running with a Lumi (among others) so there was no need. It should be very possible to use blaster for it, but going down to re-deploy every 30s would really kill my DPS not to mention risk death unless I waited around for him to use the full map attack. I'd say it's viable, but not ideal and would require significantly more funding than me (~370k range) for significant damage without using it against Gollux himself.
