I would love to have a red one, since it's my favorite color.

And I want to play mercenaries because I haven't played with Clare Redfield yet. I'm literally praying for a remastered or remake of Resident Evil 1-2-3. And seems fun to just randomly kill zombies. It's my kind of fun.

I looked, not there. I'm bummed about this. I really could have sworn that all you had to do was to have just hopped into the eShop and upgraded to the latest version, which I had been for a while. I really should have gotten it and if Spidey's example says anything, I should have still been able to see it in my News section.

That's one of many numbers but they'll redirect you if it's wrong. Just tell them what's going on--if you registered it on a Club Nintendo account you should be able to prove quite easily that you didn't just buy it today and aren't trying to scam them. In my experience with them they're very helpful and have a lot of well organized information available so yeah, it shouldn't be a problem. Just do it. Don't settle!

I didn't register it with club nintendo (don't have an acc) and i can't check if i'm part of ambassador or not. I'm assuming i'm not. Am i f'ucked?

If you didn't update and/or go into the eShop since you bought it (assuming you bought it before 11:59 EST last night) then you will not be a part of the program. The only way to know for sure is to go into the eShop and look at the notifications. If you are a member it will say so.

I updated and went in eshop multiple times before that time. I didn't get the notification though. (just checked) Calling them now.

Edit: She claims no notifications were given out period, which is entirely possible. She said there's going to be a page on support.nintendo.com later this week (even though it's friday...) that will check the status of whether you're in the program or not though.

Maybe it's just too short notice for them to push the notification to my system because i updated/shopped relatively late. If the page tells me i'm not when it's up i'll just call them again.

The disclaimer is because their "3d" wasn't tested over the long term and was deemed potentially hazardous to young people's eyes (though it hasn't been actually proven with science, so it was pure speculation). Apparently your eyes are completely done with developing after the age of 7+.

So, apparently if you're one of their power morons who gets Game Informer and signed up for their newsletter you can get a 3DS for $99. Here's a cropped version of the email I received.

I was dead set on not buying a 3ds for a long time (until another model came out or something. 3DS XL sounds nice to me.) But this seems like too good of a deal to pass up, and my old DS lite is just laying around collecting dust since I got my DSi XL. What do you guys think?

nah i think I'll keep the original DS still. Too good a deal with the R4 flashkart, especially since it basically allows you to do whatever the hell you want with your DS.
