@AkaSora: I don't hate Ocarina of time. It was good on the N64. I hate OoT3D because it was garbage. I'm against pomegranate games, period. I didn't single out OoT, I also mentioned The Mercenaries which is also a sad excuse for a game. You need to stop defending Nintendo blindly.

Ocarinas not a pomegranate game, it's just the porting missed a bunch fo things that needed improving. We've already been through this and I don't see the point of starting it again.
Mercenaries is probably an ok game, but there is no way it's worth the price tag. Maybe 1/3rd of what they're charging. The same goes for most of whats in that 3ds video, I'd buy a lot of it, but at full retail price? Not a chance.

I wasn't defending anything the fact is a lot of people actually like the original and the port is all. Really don't get how I was defending anything really I didn't state everyone loves ocarina of time or Nintendo is perfect just said a lot of people like it. Don't care for Resident Evil games and mercenaries is apparently bad read it lags and not enough content for an actual game..dumb move to disable deleting saves as well, Capcom just screws up a lot lately.

The price is kind of high for some of those games I would say but some are the length of console games and last generation console games. Would be annoying if the games were extremely short like a few are and cost $40 but a few are apparently long and could be worth it.

just incase that that's implying that the free games are coming out when the price drop occurs, that's not true. we get the nes games on sept 1st and the gba games by the end of 2011. the price drop only means you can't register to be an ambassador anymore.

The ambassador program, if you haven't signed into the eShop or update to latest version (both count, apparently. I was just trying to make everyone aware. The ambassador program is the 20 free games to people who purchased pre-price drop.

Check your "News" option in the e-shop. If there's a notification saying you're an ambassador, yes.

So my bundle of a 3DS and Rayman on release was £229.99, now selling for £144.99

effectively the 20 free games need to be worth £85, otherwise you lose out (unless you love like every one of the 20 freebies)

Well, this is friggin amazing, In Mexico it got a MAJOR price drop. from 6999 pesos, to 2999 pesos, and on some places even to 1999 pesos (though there seems to be a catch). I will buy the one of 2.9k the moment I get the money. Though I only plan on playing Pokemon Black, Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Mercenaries and Mario Kart.

Can't wait.

I was dead set on not buying a 3ds for a long time (until another model came out or something. 3DS XL sounds nice to me.) But this seems like too good of a deal to pass up, and my old DS lite is just laying around collecting dust since I got my DSi XL. What do you guys think?
