I'm actually looking forward to the new Kid Icarus game when that comes out o_o Looked pretty cool at E3.

I felt meh-ish about that after they said that there would be more ground stages, and that the sky stages were basically on rail shooters.

I loved that game. I'm starting to become a little envious of the aforementioned friend with a 3DS already who will be getting the free games. If the free GBA games include all of the GBA Metroid titles, I'll be sad. Those games were kickass.

Considering they haven't made an updated version of the game for a long time (and the fact i wasn't old enough to actually play the old version), I'd buy it just because.

I want to see this footage your quote mentions of a chain chomp being thrown in the overworld. I haven't seen any battle footage or overworld footage with any partners out. There are screenshots of what look like they would be partners, but the extreme lack of video footage has me worried too. Especially since we've already seen battles, which also seemed to be lacking FP meters. I hope its not that damn item system from the mario and luigi games replacing FP...

Good lord i finished Zelda finally and my 3DS started blinking red halfway through the credits and i hadn't saved since starting Ganon's Castle.

Its a shame even when i have 3D off i get about 5 hours of battery.

It got announced this morning. I was going to post a thread but... I've posted too many recently, haha.

Hopefully they will, it's a shame that's there's nothing really stellar on the system besides a re-worked 12 year old game. If Nintendo was good at anything, it was first party support. Just waiting for them to make me want their system.

In my opinion they need to stop taking freaking 40 years to deliver games and start pumping out quality stuff each ad every year, I feel like the release cycle of Mario, Metroid, and other first party stuff is so damned long, it just hurts them.

i got my 3ds at costco about a week ago for $170. free games and price drop price is pretty sweet. so far it's my favourite thing in the world considering i played my ds lite this year more than all my other consoles combined.

also @sarah before holidays super mario 3d land (nov) and mario kart 7 (dec) are supposed to come out so mario games + christmas = 3ds sales.

I guess now's a good time to look into getting a 3DS since there will be more than 1 game I like available.

I have only watched 3 minutes of that video you posted but every game on there so far is complete trash. Including OoT and of course, The Mercenaries. Will edit this to trash it some more.

Edit: Doctor Laurtec looks pretty good. Fantasy Life will be amazing but it's one of the games I've already been looking forward to.

Okay not going to watch the full thing but at least 7/8ths of the games featured in that video are just complete pomegranate.

So that's what the price drop is for.

i wanted Red at release..

and some of those games in that video look good, but its a case of release dates really. The next game i want right now is Mario Kart and thats not for another couple of months. I'll take this time to finish DS games like Pokemon Ranger i suppose.

We get it Sarah you don't like Ocarina of time bringing it up often gets annoying sorry others enjoy it a lot.

Most of that video has good games actually else than the licensed crap like ben 10 and all that..looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3D and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney if that gets released here anyhow.
