Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So um, anyone have tips/pointers for playing Trydamere?

(besides being aggressive in teamfights )

All I know is that he can be jungled relatively well, however his ganking ability is somewhat mediocre.

Wait... wriggles? curious on this one.. why?

Wriggle's is bad on ashe. Only ranged ad I can see it being good on are ez, maybe twitch, xin, and a few others outside of the jungle.

Wards, lifesteal, AD, armour. Basically all the stats I lack in when I play Ashe.

@ the defensive items situation, get whatever you need whenever. You don't necessarily have to build an entire Banshee's, just the Negatron Cloak goes a long way.

I would recommend dropping the crit quints and some marks for enough ArPen to reduce jungle creeps to 0 armor. Also, the Crit Seals/AS Glyphs aren't really too necessary. If you haven't got em, Armor Seals and CDR Glyphs will do fine.

It wouldn't be a big deal if majority of the guides actually didn't suck the big one. Most guides tell you to build "Glass Cannon", which is horrible.

Dunno man, you're challenging a level 30 on this. A lot of guides on those sites are bad I suppose, but that's why you don't follow them and that's why you follow the 90%+ guides.

I looked at Vlad builds and then made my own. I sort of haphazardly guessed at items Mundo needs, but guides did help with that.

Glass cannons only work for so long. Sure you can do massive damage, but if the opposing team has any brains, they'll just focus you down first, because you have no defensive items whatsoever.

Speaking of mid, anyone want to do a ARAM (all random all mid, yeah self explanatory) game this weekend? It'll probably be a 3 v 3, but it can be a 5 v 5 if we can get enough people.

Mix and match what you and the guides think are good ideas, and then apply accordingly to your elo. Remember that difficulty is relative, and that some things that are glorious in high elo are absolute crap in mid elo.

I've already mentioned that guides are only there to help you and not be the "FOLLOW THIS OR YOU SUCK" type of deal. Otherwise my Xin build would be "Glass Cannon" until late game, because the guide I read told me to build Ghostblade and Cleaver (And possibly Thirster) before even thinking about going defensive items.
