fallenangls Wrote:So I'm new on the ~warrior~ scene. I've recently created a fighter, who just turned level 30 today. Its my first ever, and I wanted to challenge myself by being pure str!
So I was wondering what should I be looking at equips-wise? This whole acc thing is a little overwhemling, but I don't really have to worry about mesers so much, I've got a lot of hoarded things I can sell. I'm just wondering if someone can tell me what I should be looking at now, and looking for in the future.
Thanks so much guys!
P.S. - I've glanced at a few guides, but most are very outdated >:

First of all, welcome to the warrior family!.
Lets start with the very basics - don't jump the gun. The goodies (aka your end-game equips) will come later.
For equips atm:
- 100%'d Bathrobe (I'm guessing you have that set). Switch to the female overall as soon as you hit Level 35.
- ATT WG (8 atk+ is something good to start off with)
- ACC RSS. I would get this ASAP because this shoe will help you out A LOT, since you're going the DEXless route. Any shoe 10 acc or above will do.
- Zhelm (at Level 50). Self-explainatory for why this is very important. But for now, try to find yourself a clean Brown Bandana
- Silver Deputy Star (at Level 50). Will add a bit of acc. If you wish, you can use a Spiglemann Necklace till then.
- Cape: Just use whatever (unless you have a low-level DEX cape at your disposal) till Level 50, when you can upgrade to a PaC (with stats like DEX or STR, if you can afford it). I would use IC2 just for the speed, or if you do the 2 Magatia quests (forgot what they're called, but related to two "rival" families), they can give you capes that come with 5 speed and 2 jump.
- Weapon: Now I know you may be thinking about 1H sword, but given what you have, using 1H + Shield is just too expensive to think about. Stick with 2H swords till then. Lionheart will be something nice to use (fast 2-H) till Level 50. Basically use w/e till you can get yourself a nice Soul Rohen (Level 64 Maple 2H sword). If you're desperate for accuracy, try and get yourself a Maple Soul Singer or Maple Sword.
- Earrings: If you can afford a low-level DEX earring, go for it. Otherwise, if you cannot, I suggest going EFPQ (Ellin Forest PQ, min. Level 45 to do the PQ) and PQ enough to get Glittering Altaire Earrings (2 to all stats). That'll give a little accuracy to boot. However, min. level for the earrings are Level 50.
Hope that helps........if I didn't miss anything. xD
To expand on later options (lvl 50+) you can Maker equipment with Garnet, which gives accuracy. I don't think getting Garnet should pose too much of a problem.

Were you going to mention the Japanese Map? xD That's also fast(4) and it's lvl 50.

What a wonderfully warm welcome!
Oh thank you so much!! You're so outstandingly helpful I do appreciate it so much! This seriously gave me great insight into what I was wondering about. I'm so happy someone so knowledgeable replied.
And agreed with the 2H sword kind of thing. Plus I kinda have a little romance with them because they're just so pretty! Hee!
Thank you again! I really do appreciate it

I know I asked this before but I'd want to confirm again.
Where should a lv143 BW paladin train at? (maxed blast,11 sanc, 20 divine charge, maxed ACB , 1 rush)
I've been thinking of skeles, oblivion 2 & oblivion 4, which one of them would be better exp-wise solo-ing ?
Where should a Level 89 Crusader train? I'm preety sure there's a spot better than Stormbreakers.
The options Im looking at, it seems like my only other option is Kents. Also, when's a good time to go to Gallopreas?:f6:

Crack sum goby houses?
Another option for you is Elderwraiths at Evil Dead. Hella mobby place, I must tell you. However, I would recommend dragging along a priest (recommend levels 8x/9x/10x) to help along with mobbing, bless, and whatnot. Especially the bless part, as that +20 acc will come in handy; you'll be having a LOT of accuracy issues there, unless you're using some nice equips. Plus, the priest will alleviate your accuracy issues by helping out with the mobbing via heal (yes, Elders are undead, so they can be healed). That's killing two birds with one stone for ya.
Also, since they have an ability to follow you when they spot you ("auto-follow"), that's another plus side for you as you can gather large mobs w/o effort, besides burning a few pots along the way.
I was there fooling around today on my DK, mobbing with a Karistan (PA), and despite the fact I was soloing, it was OK EXP as I got about 15% in 20-25 mins. But it goes to show that that place still has a great potential for being a great training place, if you turn it into a 2-man (party) effort. Also, this will prepare you for the fast-paced environment of Himes training, as the map layout + mobs + damage dealt is quite similar to what Himes do.
But I just did a bit of number crunching, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say about anywhere between 180 - 250 washes (answering both of your questions).
Hey, just wondering why Paladins supposedly "suck" at bossing and everthing. A lot of the high-end bosses seem to be neutral, so Blast + Holy Charge will be at 770% per attack, and they sometimes have the advantage of constant KB, as well. Blast is also the same speed as Brandish. Yes, I know it's weaker than Brandish and Spear Crusher with Berserk, but they can't really be that far behind, can they? Why do they seem to be looked down on?
I have about 1.1b (maybe 1.6-1.7 depending on how much i sell my glove for). I have a pair of 120 weapon attack sky ski's, I want to forge an alpuchez, how should I go about scrolling it/forging it.
Spoiler
I'll hunt for time pieces and possibly forge my own advanced crystals.
People who are most concerned about optimizing their spear would say to forge with an adv str, diamond, black crystal, and a stimulator to ensure the highest possible attack.
I myself just used str, dex, and diamond with no stim and got a 118 atk clean, but that was mostly a fluke.
If you want to scroll, it's probably recommended to use the Legendary Spirit skill so you can sell it off if the scrolling goes badly. If you're feeling really lucky and/or rich you can 30% the first slot of a few spears until one works and either straight 60, 50, or white scroll it to perfection. I, and I expect most people, just straight 60'd from the beginning. I managed to get 4 to work, and 5 more atk from levels made me the proud owner of a 131 atk spear Then again, I had a friend who made pretty good clean dagger, but only got 1 60 to work and no atk from levels so far, so it's pretty much luck...

You might consider adding amethyst for the speed bonus instead of adv. power crystal. It helps training a lot if you don't have 140 speed already.

I long for the day when I can shed my PAC and reverse shoes for my maple cape and 14 speed shoes and still 2hit guardians
