Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead 03 & 04: That voodoo dance was hilarious. Tryhard Yuki and Haruna hnnnnggggg. The seriousmode Kyouko at the end was chilling. The maid cafe thing was genius. tsunderehnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg. I loved the Eu corner at the end. That topped things off really well. *snap*

Sengoku Collection 03 & 04: Oh God, this show is terrible. At least there's some presence of conflict now instead of COLLECT THE DRAGON BALLS TO GET YER WISH

Natsuiro Kiseki 03 & 04: This show is amazing. The body swap really showcased a lot of ability. Really looking forward to seeing more of these shenanigans. Pretty good OP too. Really like the instrumental version.

Fate/Zero 16 & 17: Well that interesting. I mean, I totally expected him to not let them live, but wow. lol@Kotomine Sr. Poor Rin. Looks like Kiritsugu flashbacks next ep. Interesting. I want the ED T_T

Haiyore! Narlko-san 03: Hawt. The lunch-box negotiation was great. Interesting that Narlko's brother shows up, and gets bashed around.

Hyouka 01 & 02: Really interesting episode 1. Chitanda's hair is so puffy, makes her head look gigantic in comparison to everyone else. Fukube seems like a plantain. Especially after seeing episode 2 and Ibara's side of things. The ending was super-trollish. Looking forward to how they'll troll it out next week. My initial thoughts of Oreki Houtarou are that he's some sort of Sherlock Holmes-ish guy who SEES EVERYTHING and it's draining, hence why he has so much interest in conserving energy. Also, he's a sociopath it appears.

Mouretsu Pirates 16 & 17: Suddenly, lez out. Not sure what to think of this show anymore really. Nice to have in the background doing other things I guess.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia 03 & 04: dat ghost Yomi. Episode 3 was disturbing me a bit. The end of episode 4 really gave a strong dark tone, especially contrasting the "slice of life" feel the series has had so far, which is really good this episode. Really sets up a strong sense of conflict for future episodes. Looking forward to see how they develop this to end on 12 episodes.

AKB0048 01: Nagisa's head is GIGANTIC. That is all.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead 00 & 05: My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Also, cookie to whoever can spot the Iron Chef reference in episode 00.

Space Brothers 2-4: The show is entertaining, but there's something off about the characters, especially Serika. Too Mary Sue maybe.

Eureka Seven Ao: Seems really good so far.

Accel World 3-5:
I think I might be getting old... I was having a real hard time finding episodes 3 and 4 to be anything other than a chore. So shounen-trope-ridden. So many high school bullpomegranate problems that are hilariously unconnected to my life at this point. Some solid action cleared that up, but damn, scary stuff.

Still not sure how this show about high school not-really-pirate-pirates is so entertaining 17+18:

The dead girl show, in which the dead girl is a ghost and not a zombie 3-5:
Episode 4. Swimsuits. Right on cue. I think I've previously mentioned my standard theory of swimsuit fanservice that has episode four as the mode episode number. The ending pool water and night sky were damn pretty though. Hoping the current trend of "tension building... tension building... HORROR OPPORTUNITY! ...TEIICHI BAKA!" does get some actual horror with this other ghost they've had wandering around.

On the other hand, I've been thoroughly entertained by both of the dead girl shows so far this season.

KyoAni is not my typical fare, but I'm feeling kindred with this give-no-shits Houtarou.

Haven't been watching much anime recently, though i've been watching Kore Wa Zombie Desuka? OTD and Medaka Box.

Kore wa zombie desuka? OF THE DEAD episode 6: Holy crap, a PLOT is starting to show up?
Hilarious episode all around, i loved the new character, i laughed out loud every single time he vomited up blood and his catchphrase is funny.
The ghost girl is finally getting some spotlight in a sense... she seems... dark
the romance with the 'normal' girl was pretty sweet, and everything about Yuki in this episode was incredibly adorkable.

Lots of callbacks to the first series as well, such as the OP returning, crossdressing shenanigans, Yuki's 'weapon' form, megalo's and the "THAT'S NOT A KICK" gag, which i've missed a lot.

Also i TOTALLY wasn't expecting that Terminator reference, this show never ceases to amaze me.

I'm 3 episodes behind, but sure as pomegranate not dropping it. Just got the OST, it's everything I could have wanted. Even the hilarious engrish "My Favorite Things"

Dropping this as well. Haru ranks really, really high on my list of pineappleing miserable-to-watch protagonists. On top of that, you'd think I could get used to this random-ass chibi kid in the middle of a show after I managed to come to terms with Shiki's character designs.

Some well-done high school drama pomegranate here. Nice to see Kaoru just up and kiss Ritsuko. Many male protagonists could take a lesson from that.

Would really kill for an episode that's just 20 straight minutes of well-animated jazz.

So the drunk girl wasn't a ghost after all... but she doesn't strike me as much of a villain. She gave no motivation other than "I was cursed and now i am free so i'm doing what i want", though i suppose she did steal Haruna's mana, which is a good enough reason to track her down.
Her attack with the alcohol was pretty cool!

Stick with HorribleSubs (which I believe is a Crunchy rip); they tend to be less liberal with their translation. Though they could learn to use TL notes every now and then instead of acting as though we're not watching something in a foreign language. (For example, what they did with the Ika Musume squid puns was just horrible.)

HorribleSubs uses crunch rips and does not doing anything themselves when it comes to translating. Well, that was the case until AKB0048. They're subbing that, but that's the only show they've ever done subs for.
