Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Yeah, it is a suboptimal heal spell. It does damage, though.

Sometimes, there just isn't an end game. Or a mid game.

The LoL still has yet more wondrous things to show you, let alone the world.
I've always rushed RoA on Singed, then went full on tank mode for the remainder of the match. I see Rylai's as a "7th item" if the game takes forever.

RoA gives a total of +630 Health +725 Mana +80 Ability Power after 10min of having the item. The extra mana gives him an additional 181.25 Health, which brings the total up to +891.25 HP just for singed from RoA alone!

It's amazing survivability for the entirety of the game.
Team fight wise, I'd have to believe Rylai's is far superior due to the poison slowing everything down by 35%, which will greatly help your team give chase. Plus flinging an opponent into your poison pretty much perma slows them.

Slow on rylai + 500 hp.
That's what you make it for, that slow + his poison.
Yeah, I think I'd rather have the permaslow once I fling an enemy behind me than just some more hp. roa makes vayne and madreds users kill you faster now anyway. But I guess you could alternate depending on team comp.
Dunno if you want the Rylai's, as you WANT noobs to chase you while under the poison =).

lol that thread was such a fail.
And no sane person really chases for long even if it doesn't slow. It's mostly for fighting utility so you can run around in fights so your team can do w.e they want to them.
Actually, I just realized you don't even need Rylai's, I forgot how godmode Singed's W is when maxed. -75% movement speed is pretty beast mode.

Only lasts so long, though. I'd prefer the slow to go on for the entirety of the fights.

Cooldown, limited duration, decent AOE, but still AOE which means they can get out of it with flash or something like it.
Rylai's is beast on him.
IDK. I don't like taking ~400 hp over a slow on all my spells that pretty much guarantee a kill with my team. Especially when people like kog, ww and rarely some others run madreds, and vayne exists.
I've never built Rylai's when I've used Singed...
I've gotten lots of kills just from running away with ult+ghost with poison on when they think they can chase me. Pretty sure with Rylai's slow they'd change their mind when they notice the slow and retreat. I guess I just prefer to bait the enemy while I run away.

What? How does having more HP mean you die faster? %HP damage means you'll die in the same # of hits as before. Mixed %hp damage and regular damage never means you'll die faster. The amount of damage applied to you is only larger due to your larger HP.... but the amount of hits (and thus time) it takes to kill you never decreases.

Getting more HP doesn't mean much with % hp damage... that much is obvious... but since %hp wont be the ONLY type of damage you take, having more hp means you'll still survive a bit more.

Regardless of this, I still feel the permaslow is quite a lot more useful than an HP boost when fighting 1 on 1 with % hp damage dealers... in team fights though... that's up for debate based on the enemy team comp and how the team fights play out.

Singed isn't a 1v1 fighter lol
He's just a cockblock in 1v1 scenarios and a massive troll in teamfights.

The Garen was being a troll and after he got called out for dying 6 times on bot and feeding Malph + Blitz, he started to be an ass and started intentionally feeding the opposing team.
First time I've actually used Bloodrazor in a game and DAT DAMAGE! Xin too beast with Madred and Cleaver just ripping the opposing team's HP like butter.

Jesus Christ, you managed to carry through Garen, ManaTomo, AND Foopah (yo Foopah maybe Taric ain't for you =P).
Seems like they're gonna revamp most, if not all, summoner spells soon.
NMST already confirmed that Flash and CV are indeed getting nerfed.
Quote:Told you I was back Tongue

To clarify, we're likely doing a lot of changes to CV - it'll have a different functionality than global vision on a low CD. This is based on some analysis of it in relation to what we saw in the qualifiers.
Quote:No, a lot of summoner spells overall. We have some useless ones, some OP ones - we just need to take a swipe at all these and find a better balance. CV is ugly too.
Played a Beginner vs. Co-op with a friend to get him better at the game, went 38-1-9. Almost reached my goal of 40 kills. Sad
Fed Vayne = sadface me and team.

I had sunfire, aegis, and frozen heart, but I still couldn't tank it that long >_>.

Played with dero.
No matter how hard I tried lategame, my sion and lee managed to screw things up really bad, and vlad was not really paying much attention. It was all fun n' stuff when I was 17/2/3.
 Me and Phoenix

Me and Moldy queued up together. He decided to try Swain, and I was originally going to be Singed, but seeing we're mostly AP, with only one AD (Caitlyn), I decided to be the rat.

Me and Soraka laned at top, and Soraka is such a huge troll. Ezreal probably didn't know what to do. He could bring her down, but she heals back up within 20 seconds. While Soraka was busy harassing Ezreal and nibbling away his HP, I was farming away on minions, racking up 70-80+ CS by the end of the early game phase. That allowed me to get ahead in building my items.

After suffering a lousy death at mid, I decided to do a bit of roaming. By this time, I had some items ready. Long story short, our team raped teamfights. At one point, Alistar knocked up all 5 of the enemies in mid (the enemy was pushing hard), and I noticed a perfect opportunity to use Spray and Pray. Positioned myself properly, popped stealth, pressed my R, and unloaded my destruction on them. That sent most of them below half health by the time I was done, and that broke their push at mid. And of course, I racked up most of my kills from ganks and small teamfights.

They eventually surrendered. Surprisingly enough, they did not bother to get Oracles to counter me. I wonder why....
